The college has good placements and infrastructure, but some areas need improvement.

Placements: I took admission in Chandigarh University in 2015 for B.Com (Hons.) in Auditing and Taxation and completed it in 2018. Around 70 percent to 80 percent of students in my course were placed. The highest package offered was around 9 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA and the average was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters included KPMG, Deloitte, EY and PwC. About 60 percent of students got internships in companies like HDFC, ICICI and Reliance. The top roles offered were tax consultant, audit associate and financial analyst.

Infrastructure: The top roles offered were tax consultant, audit associate and financial analyst. The university had good infrastructure, with well maintained classrooms, Wi-Fi and a library with a decent collection of books. The hostel facilities were satisfactory, with clean rooms and 24/7 security. The mess food was average with limited variety. Medical facilities were available and there were good sports facilities including a gym and football ground.

Faculty: Faculty members was qualified and knowledgeable and most teachers were helpful. The teaching quality was decent, but some subjects needed better practical exposure. The course curriculum was relevant and industry-oriented but more real-world case studies could have been included. Semester exams were moderate in difficulty with a pass percentage of around 80 to 85 percent.

Other: I chose this course because I was interested in finance and taxation. The best part was the exposure to industry practices. Yet, the syllabus could have been more practical. The university hosted many fests and events, and the campus crowd was diverse. Connectivity was good, with easy transport options. Scholarships were available for meritorious students.

Fully satisfied, very good placements at my time, excellent infrastructure and facilities .

Placements: I don't know the exact percentage of students placed but the highest packages goes upto crores. Companies like Deloitte, federal bank and many more came to the college and all of the companies were big and well known. I am satisfied with the placements.

Infrastructure: There was a good facility of Wi-Fi, classroom have SMART boards and have a decent space. Hostel rooms were clean and there was a good quality for medical facilities, canteen, sports and games. There was a plenty of sports options in which u can take part.

Faculty: Yes the teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, cleared my doubts and queries whenever I needed. Yes this course curriculum is relevant and make students industry ready. The level of semester exams was moderate I. e it was not very hard nor very easy.

Other: I chose B.Com because I'm fascinated by the world of business and finance. I wanted to understand how companies work and make informed decisions. Plus, it's a versatile degree that open up a lot of career opportunities. The events, fest, campus crowd, campus surrounding was incredible .
