Chandigarh University B.Com review. Decent placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Chandigarh University had decent placements for B.Com but exact statistics werenâ€™t available. Overall the highest package was 54.75 LPA domestic and 1.74 crores international. Big companies like Amazon, Microsoft and Deloitte hired from CU. It was best for placements.

Infrastructure: Chandigarh University offered Wi-Fi, modern classrooms, a well-stocked library and labs for B.Com students. Hostels were decent and the food quality varied but was manageable. The medical facilities were available and sports options were good. You can opt for the college without hesitation.

Faculty: Teachers at Chandigarh University were qualified and helpful, with decent teaching quality. The B.Com curriculum was industry-relevant but may needed extra effort for real-world skills. The semester exams were moderate, passing wasnâ€™t too tough if you studied. The pass percentage was high.

Other: B.Com at Chandigarh University was a decent choice for commerce students. The best part was industry exposure and placement opportunities. However, practical learning and faculty interaction could been improved. The campus had great fests, a diverse crowd, good connectivity, and scholarships.

Special place and special moments.

Placements: Placements are very good compared to other campuses. Chandigarh University is one of the best colleges in India, even when compared to institutions worldwide. I also received a package of 7 LPA in an accounts role at the Mohali location, and many students got placed in top companies.

Infrastructure: The reason I rated the hostel 5 stars is that I enjoyed a lot at my hostel with my lovely friends. Although the fees were in lakhs, the enjoyment was infinite. The infrastructure at Chandigarh University is top-class, and everyone loves it.

Faculty: The curriculum is followed according to the norms set by the University Grants Commission (UGC), and this university provides top-quality education. Well-educated faculty are arranged for lectures, ensuring students can secure good packages and achieve higher goals.

Other: The value for money is evident in every aspect, such as infrastructure, scholarships, and connectivity, including outstation travel. People from foreign countries come to study at Chandigarh University.

An average college with a good campus life and exposure.

Placements: Around 60% of the students are placed, with the highest domestic package of 54 LPA, and the average and lowest packages of 8 LPA. Top recruiters are Flipkart, Amazon, Accenture, Britannia, and Microsoft. Internships are to be done by ourselves. Roles offered are HR, Manager, and HOD.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent, with all the facilities available. The security, staff, and the environment are excellent for students growth. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The quality of food provided in the mess is good. Canteens are affordable and maintain hygiene.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course, curriculum, objectives, and program outcomes are beneficial. Semester exams in Chandigarh are easy. Pass percentage is based on the grading system.

Placements: Placements are good, and I have also been placed at IJRDO Private Limited. The package offered to me was 4 lacs, and the location was Chandigarh. There are many career opportunities in this college for students who need placements.

Infrastructure: It is one of the top colleges, known for its infrastructure. The campus is spread across more than 300 acres in Mohali, and the hostels are of top quality, making students feel at home. Students love to stay in the hostel most of the time.

Faculty: The faculty is very good at teaching practical knowledge, and various programs are conducted to enhance the knowledge of the students. The curriculum follows UGC norms, ensuring the best education is provided to students in their second home.

I spent my own college days there.

Placements: According to my preference, placements at Chandigarh University were much better compared to other colleges. The reason I said this is because I was also placed at Uolo Edtech Private Limited with an annual package of 3.7 LPA The average package was 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostels and library were the best places I used to visit because I had the most fun in the hostels and the most peace in the library. We studied in groups with friends. I enjoyed my hostel days a lot. Those were the best days with my friends, and I had a great time.

Faculty: Faculty in the university were young, which motivated us to study and helped us connect with them easily. The curriculum was designed to meet UGC norms, and exams were held twice a year, which maintained the regularity of study and supported high achievements in college life.

Other: They provided scholarship opportunities to every segment of students who came from various parts of India.

Placements: Students are eligible in the 4th semester to apply for placements and students have to enroll in TPP for placement Lots of companies like Wipro, HDFC Bank, AXIS Bank, PWC, TCS, and Deloitte visited in campus In 2023, 2100 offers were made for the highest package for B.Com. (Hons), approximately 10 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA, which is too good for freshmen, approximately 90 percent of students getting placement from the university..

Infrastructure: Facilities given by hostel is very good In hostels, separate study rooms are available, and internet facilities are also provided. The food quality is moderate and menu changes according to seasonal vegetables. The registration process is very simple; you have to request on CUIMS the hostel accommodation option, and then the hostel will be allotted after some time.
