Great campus life and opportunities.
Placements: More than 50% of students are placed every year. In my course, 12 LPA was the high and average around 6 to 7 LPA and the lowest was 2.4 LPA. Land, byju's, federal bank, tcs, vedanta, mrf are the major recruiting MNCs here. Almost 70% of students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: There are highly equipped labs but there is no Wi-Fi available for students currently. All the classrooms are smart classrooms. It have college mess and hostel mess where they provide food at very minimal cost. Also there is medical centre with 24*7 doctor available for checkup. They conducts annual sports fest namely astra, kurukshetra qnd soe sports.
Faculty: Almost all the faculty members are qualified in their respective fields and student friendly. They are well updated with use of technologies in teaching and all. The syllabus is updated timely and makes students academically sound. Comparing with other universities the syllabus might be little difficult but can pass all the exams if you put effort in it.
Other: I choose civil due to the well known faculty members and passion for construction engineering. The college have its techfest dhishna, arts fest sargam and vipanchika, Science fest, knowledge fest, literature fest, and a lot more events. The campus have a well maintained green campus. Also it have more than 20 clubs where students can brush up their skills.

Effective study with full enjoyment of college and campus life.
Placements: Our college has overall 80% placement record. But in few branches, i.e. Safety engineering and IT, we have 100 % placements and many times, students get PPO offers in the 3rd year itself. The highest package is of 30 LPA and min is of 3.5 LPA. Placement officer of the college is good.
Infrastructure: Hostel is limited, The college doesn't has its own hostel. Hostel is allotted by the university, so students coming from North India will get Hostel in the 4th year. Till then, you have to stay in a private Hostel or a PG or in a flat. Hostel rooms are big and cheap.
Faculty: Faculty is good. The course curriculum is superb and the passing marks for the exams are 50%. Level of education is very good and teaching is also good. The syllabus has most of the portion of GATE syllabus. You will get study material easily. The exposure to industry will be available.
Other: Our college campus is awesome. You will fill the Vibe of Kerala. People of Kerala are also good, they will be always there to help you. Kochi is the heart of Kerala. College campus life will be superb but the people coming with expectations of learning Malayalam within 4 years will get disappointed, because Malayalam is not an easy language.

The college is very good in terms of studies.
Placements: In my branch, almost 30-40 students are placed out of 100 students. The highest package offered in my course is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. L&T is the top recruiting company for my course. Almost every student gets an internship in my course like in Shapoorji, Kochi Metro, Cochin Shipyard, L&T and many more.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good. Wi-Fi is available in the library. The university library is very good because it is open for a long time. Classrooms are good with digital class facilities. Hostels are good, and the food is good. Sports are always held by the college. Fests are also held here.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable about the subject. Passing the university exams is tough. 50% is the passing percentage.
Other: The college gives you many ways to get settled.

Absolutely blissful 4 years in all terms.
Placements: Placement cell is very active and recruits the best of each batch. Kitco, Wipro, Byjus, L & t are few high tech companies which hire from the campus. In our batch the toppers were placed ones. Well training and orientation classes are provided. The strict filtration of companies hired only the best toppers.
Infrastructure: Well furnished hostel separate for boys and girls. Canteen provide well cooked, healthy food. Library with good wi-fi connection and good collection of books both technical and non technical. There is sports ground, football court, walkways for spending leisure time. Its definitely a different atmosphere.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and mostly master degree and doctorates. The students teacher interaction is quite friendly. Even during the classes are quite interactive sessions with proper doubt clearance. Politics was also a part of campus life with lot of strikes and elections.
Other: Tech fest, workshops, college fest, university fest .

I'm totally dissatisfied with the fee structure.
Placements: Only 30% of students get placed every year in different fields. The highest package offered was 7.5 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. L&T, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro came here. Everyone got an internship in Southern Railway, Kochi Metro etc. A lot of IT companies come here, and the good thing is that they offer decent packages.
Infrastructure: Labs and equipment are very good, but the lab faculty members we get are often inexperienced guest lecturers. Some are really annoying. The hostel infrastructure is average, and the hostels here are political-party based. For the first two years, you won't get a university hostel if you aren't OEC, SC or ST. You'll have to look for private hostels. You may have food from the university hostel mess run by final year students at a monthly fee of 2,200. If you're an OEC, SC or ST student, you have to pay a negligible fee for food and hostel.
Faculty: All the permanent faculty members are superb. But 90% of the guest lecturers are not that good, and 3-4 out of 6 faculty members per semester will be inexperienced guest lecturers. Lab faculty members are really bad, and the female faculty members are often strict and humiliating.
Other: You can enjoy your college life at its extreme level. Events are of the greatest quality here compared to other colleges in Kerala, and a lot of events are there too. College fest, hostel fests, Arts (both college and university level) are held here.

Review of CUSAT - Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Placements: I am now a 3rd-year student in CUSAT from the civil engineering course. Most of the students here who don't have backlogs got placed through our college. About 70% of the students got placements. The salary package offered would be different with respect to companies. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Major recruiting companies include Cisco, TCS, Tata Steel, Vedanta, etc. In the placement drive of 2020, 300 job offers are made, and 35 companies came and recruited 306 students. About 80% of the students got internship opportunities from top companies like Tata Steel. Top roles offered in our course are an engineering project manager, senior civil engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are of the top level. Our university has all sorts of sports and lab facilities, which provide the overall development of students. Our college has a main library named University Library, which has good Wi-Fi. Our college canteen has good quality food at a low price, which is very helpful for students. There is a medical doctor for helping students if they need any help. We can play indoor and outdoor games here. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped.
Faculty: All teachers are well-experienced and have a PhD in their respective field which they teach. Apart from academic participation, faculty members are actively involved in the research work, which makes the university excel all over the world. They are awesome, and we are updated in every section. The course helps a lot in the industry section because we already know about the industry and their workers' work.
Other: I have chosen this course because it has a very good reputation in India, and students who passed out from CUSAT have very good opportunities. Every year a lot of fests are held in our university. It is a government college, so the fee is very low compared to any other college. Talent Time is the biggest management fest which is organised here, in which students from around India participate.

Overall, it is a very good college.
Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed, and in which, about 15% of the students got placed in construction companies and remaining in general companies. The salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Larsen & Toubro and Shapoorji Pallonji visit our campus for placements. I don't know exactly, but I think some students got an internship at the college. A top role offered to the students is a laboratory worker.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the library and laboratories. All the equipment is available in the laboratories. All the classrooms have smartboards. Sufficient space is available in the library to sit and study, and all the required books are available. All facilities available for the students are good.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college are good and well-qualified. They are PhD holders in their respective subjects. Some teachers teaching quality is excellent, and the remaining teachers have average teaching quality. There must be a change in the syllabus because only practical knowledge is not enough.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like to read and know about construction and the environment. The best thing about this course is that it required for better infrastructure. I wish our college should improve knowledge of fieldwork in our course. Events and fests organised at our college are excellent. For north Indian students, it is just good due to language barrier.

I am fully content with my college.
Placements: Placement are good in CUSAT. About top 40 percent students are allowed to sit in the placement. The lowest package is of about 3.0 3.3 lap. The highest package was about 38 39lpa. Average goes around 7lpa. Larson and toubrow Shapoorji According And many more core companies. As junior engineer many are hired. In my core branch package starts from about 3lpa to 12.6lpa. Internships is fully based on the students credit, how he or she efforts to get the internship.
Infrastructure: We have well furnished classrooms, eva lab, CAD lab, and many more labs and workshops. We have two libraries, one of B.Tech campus, and second is of central library of university. Good food is provided in the hostel. Medical officers are always available in the campus. We also have a counselor always available. Amenity centre is there for indoor games and 2 playground is there for outdoors.
Faculty: Yes teachers are helpful and well qualified. All the teaching are in english. Yes relevant course, with CBCS pattern. It makes the student industry ready. If u really interested in any other curricular activities it gives you all the exposure. Here techfest goes on and many other cultural functions and events going on. Useful workshops and lots of useful things packed in the box at @CUSAT.
