Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons.) - Batch of 2029
3.8
Best women's college in DU for commerce after LSR.
Placements: Very poor placement opportunities for a Bachelor's degree throughout India, that is also reflected here. Placements through the college are not present, however, you can approach companies with the certificate who have and can get job offers across India, expecting a salary of Rs. 5,000- Rs. 15,000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch, considering the infrastructure of KNC and Gargi. Gargi has the best infrastructure, with a lab for Science subjects and a huge library. However, the library space is small, it is always filled with people, and there is a single copy of the book, so students prefer buying them.
Faculty: The course is very rigorous, one of the toughest courses in DU. Very hard syllabus, bulk textbooks, and exams are going to make you insane. The SCGPs you are going to score will be very low compared to students in other courses of universities, if you are looking for a challenging degree, then this is the best.

Absolutely a good college for placement.
Placements: The placement at this college is good. The highest package is 24 LPA, while the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. Many companies recruit from the college, such as KPMG India, EY India, PwC, and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The college has good classroom infrastructure. Some areas need reconstruction. Labs are also good, and the library is very good. The college does not provide hostel facilities. The canteen food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. I chose B.Com (Hons.), so it basically has hard subjects. The passing percentage in this course is around 40%.

B.Com. (Hons.) - Batch of 2027
3.6
Good placement on the basis of skills, nothing much for the course itself.
Placements: The top roles include Economics, Business Analyst, Sales Manager, etc. It depends on your specialization. I don't think you can get any offer if you don't study. Even if you study, getting an offer depends on your efforts. However, if you are aiming big, B.Com is not going to get you anywhere, whether it is from DSC, SRCC, or any other top college.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel. The infrastructure is okay, but it can be better. The college is overall in an average condition. Improvements are being made, so there is nothing to judge badly because progress is happening. It depends on how the college develops in the future. Right now, it is neither bad nor very good, but it is improving.
Faculty: It depends on how you prepare for examinations. The difficulty of questions does not matter much. They are normally based on the subjects. However, the subjects can be modified, and a better curriculum can be introduced. Most of the teachers are good, except for some exceptions, as in every college. The curriculum is outdated in some main subjects. Some skill and language enhancement subjects can be modified, changed, and made more relevant to today's world.

The commerce section of the DU.
Learning Experience: My learning experience here is been a rollercoaster ride. In my initial years the commerce and accounting were passing over my head but eventually with the help of my friend I slowly started understanding it. Economics and taxation became my favourite subject. I got strong foundation for my banking and everything. The training experience for me is very much limited. The pros here is that it has a flexible schedule but the cons is the limited timing.
Placements: The placement process exists here for B.Com Hons but very much limited. Most of the students try to get off-campus placements. Most the banking and financial companies hires students of the campus with a basic salary. the roles mostly offered are finance executive, tax assistant, etc.
Faculty: My faculties are very much well prepared and all of them try to solve the doubts through the online mode. The lecturing quality may be boring in the initial days but when you start getting engaged with the teachers it will be fun and entertaining. The assignments may be heavy but it is the only way to test the skills about commerce.
Course Support: There are recorded lectures of the teachers in case if someone missed the lecture. The study materials are provided by the college. There is online portal available for important notices like examination dates, result announcements, etc. The student gets very much benefits from the study material provided by the campus.

Lucky to be here in SRCCC.
Placements: I am from B.Com (Hons.), and the batch is really good. The highest package is 36 LPA, and the median package is 14 LPA. The best roles are offered in consulting and finance, followed by strategy, growth, and sales. I attend regularly and can say that the societies are among the best in the first tier.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good. I like that the food quality can be improved. At least we have full Wi-Fi with 200 Mbps speed. The quality is good, the medical facilities are very good, and the AC is the best. I like the brick walls and the vibe. Students are helpful and perform their best.
Faculty: The curriculum involves case studies and real-time experiments. We are also taken to the lawns during EVS classes. The interaction makes the classroom environment vibrant.
Other: The campus crowd is very intelligent and extremely curious. AC is the best facility, and I like the vibe. It is good to see every student here, but life can sometimes be toxic due to high stress.

Amazing college with great infrastructure and teachers but above-average placements.
Placements: More than 50% of students get placed. The highest package offered so far is 35 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is around 8–9 LPA. Top recruiters include the Big 4 firms, Meesho, and MBB consulting companies. Barely 7–10% of students from the course get internships, mainly in Big 4 and MBB companies. The top roles offered are related to consulting and finance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good and has been updated with new Wi-Fi this year. Classrooms are always clean. The library has AC, and new washrooms have also been built. Hostel facilities are worth the money. The food available in the mess is better than what is offered in PGs.
Faculty: Teachers at SR are very knowledgeable and qualified. They know textbooks. The course curriculum is somewhat irrelevant because of SEC, VAC, and AEC classes, which seem unnecessary. However, the core subjects help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are manageable, neither too easy nor too difficult.

I’m not satisfied with the college.
Placements: I don't know about the placement percentage, but I think it is quite decent here, and not many students go for placement and rather choose higher studies and prepare for professional courses. The highest package is around 35 LPA, and the minimum might be 4 LPA. Top companies include MBBS, JP Morgan, Deloitte, EY, and many more. Internship percentages are quite low here.
Infrastructure: The college provides all facilities mentioned in it and also provides hostel facilities, whose seats are quite limited and are based on merit. The hostel mess food is decent, and the canteen food is also average. The medical facility is not much great here, but you can get to play different types of sports.
Faculty: Faculty here is really great and have very much experience in their field, and the teaching quality is also great. But I don't think that the curriculum is relevant now, and they are teaching that stuff which does not have any significance in the corporate world. The semester exams are not very difficult here.
Other: I was not really interested in the course, it was the college I chose and not the course. I wish that the syllabus would be updated and teach us more practical things. The events, fest, and ECA are great here.

    SRCC faculty is quite good.
Placements: Around 450 students get placed every year out of 1000 students, with an average package of 36 LPA and an average package of 8 LPA, while the lowest package goes as low as 4 LPA. Top recruiters are top MNC companies for consulting and the Big 4. Internship offers are very low.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is quite good, with AC available in all the classrooms. Wi-Fi infrastructure is not that good, with a weak network, and the network offered by the college only works near the admin office. The hostel is good, while the girls' hostel does have some restrictions.
Faculty: Faculty is good for the commerce department, the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, while most of them have done a Ph.D. and a research paper. The college hosts relevant workshops from time to time to make students industry-ready. Exams are not that tough.

According to me, if you are getting a seat in DU, choose it as your priority. DU is a better choice in terms of academics and affordable fees.

LPU is a good option if you want modern infrastructure, a diverse campus, practical learning, internships, and placement support. But the decision is yours,
