It's a good college with good faculty and crowd.
Placements: Placement is average when compared to all colleges, but it's obviously above average if we compare to DU colleges. A good number of companies come to our college and even an internship fair is organised regularly so that students can find internships for the summer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. 1 mark cut for no dedicated football facility and there is no AC in classrooms despite an increase in heat. The main problem is there is no auditorium in the college premises. It is said a million times that it is in development. Labs are good.
Faculty: I'm satisfied with the teachers and all. All are very helpful and good in nature. Teachers are qualified, and they are helpful if you ask about any problem, they will help you. The lab staff also provide you with appropriate information.
Other: This college is famous for its crowd and its fest. They are literally the best when it comes to grand fests. The crowd is very good as compared to other DU colleges.

Venky- The heart of South Campus.
Placements: Around 100-200 percent placements. Deloitte, Accenture, and other startups have been here. Internships are also the same percentage. HR, marketing, management, etc., are the kind of roles offered. The placement cell of Venky is well coordinated. They get companies, NGOs, and startups.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good overall very lively though ACs are not there in most of the classrooms. Rest, cleanliness is maintained. The library is air-conditioned. More space could be incorporated. Maggi point is where the stories are narrated. Basically the official hangout spot.
Faculty: Some teachers put in the effort some do not. Curriculum is relevant. Exams are of moderate level teachers are well qualified. Venky dogs are the sweetest. Societies encourage you and make you a better version of yourself. Exams are appropriate.
Other: I would like to socialise more. I chose this field to gain more knowledge about the management aspect from my career pov. Fests are the best. Activities outside the classroom could be improved.

Average view on college, good overall, beautiful, and helpful.
Placements: Placements in Science Courses are usually lower. The highest package offered in college is 21.5 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Usually Science courses students opt for entrance exams and higher education to move further into their respective fields.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, tables, chair, boards, and projectors are present in classrooms. The library is amazing for students looking for different genres of books and to study in their free time. The only problem is the fans being spaced too far apart and no ACs in common classrooms. The canteen has decent food, good sports facilities, and medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very educated in their respective fields and display immense knowledge yet sometimes their quality of teaching is not up to the mark. The course curriculum is relevant as it prepares you for both entrance exams and other options which students might go for. The semester exams are medium to hard and the pass percentage is around 90-95 percent.
Other: I chose this course as it offers diverse knowledge in not only one subject but multiple. For my course I would suggest better lab facilities. The events are amazing and well thought about, extracurricular activities are also very prominent, and the college is very supportive of these activities.

Our college has average placements and good campus life.
Placements: Top courses for placements are B.Com (Hons) and B.A. (Hons) Economics but still there are no satisfactory results. The highest package is around 12 LPA-13 LPA and the average is 5 LPA-6 LPA. Internships are provided by the college, but from really low-grade companies and startups, and most of the time we never get a response back after the interviews. Top roles offered are consulting, research, data analysis, and public policy-making.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work properly. We do not require any labs. Classrooms are not satisfactory. There are no ACs even in scorching heat, and the benches are broken. Classrooms are always overpopulated with 3 students sitting in a seat of 2.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but only some of them actually attempt to teach. They are mostly unbothered and just complete the syllabus as soon as possible. The course curriculum is outdated with us only studying 3 subjects of our course. Subjects like GE, SEC, VAC, and AEC are a complete waste of time. They do not contribute to our knowledge.
Other: The fest is amazing, and it is probably the best fest in University of Delhi. Crowd here is decent, and I did find like-minded people.

Review of my college IPH (Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for People with disabilities).
Placements: So I am a BOT pursuing student and our college has a great position in their fields. The package depends on the student's skills and knowledge and earlier performance. Last year the starting package was around Rs. 50,000- Rs. 55,000 per month. Mainly hospitals, NGOs, and companies come for placement. The placement for BOT is the highest in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college is small and many things are underground. It has a cute small campus. The canteen is present for hostlers only and the size of the hostel is small too. Not all students get a hostel and only female students can get a hostel. There are no boys hostels. We have an anatomy lab, physiology lab, and the study is great. We do have college activities and you will have fun in this college. As the college campus is not huge you have good interaction with seniors.
Faculty: Our faculty are so good mainly in anatomy and physiology. They teach us in a good way. We have exams in terms of internals and final exams. The problem is the curriculum which our college always provides us late. The difficulty of the semester depends on your preparation.
Other: I chose BOT because I felt like I could do this job and treat people. I wish people knew more about this course and there should be an option for our course too.

Bachelor of Law (LL.B) - Batch of 2026
Offered by Law Centre-II, University of Delhi
3.2
1.0Placements3.0Infrastructure3.0Faculty4.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
Great law college in budget with good vocational advantage.
Placements: As a third-year student of the LL.B. course, there are no placements, or hardly any 5% placements are provided in this college. Students often do internships in courts and in firms by reference or by applying by themselves. The top recruiting company is Khaitan and legal associate and intern are the primary roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the law centre is quite good. Classrooms are spacious with AC in each classroom. There is a centralised Wi-Fi system and lifts in the building. The college is well-maintained and clean. The library facility is also good, where you get law books, journals, and newspapers. Very few students get a hostel as it depends on your CUET-PG marks and distance from your home because the seats are limited. Medical facilities are free for DU students, you just have to get a card made by your department. I don't know much about sports as I don't play
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, but a few guest faculty teachers do not have a proper way of teaching. The curriculum is relevant but it depends upon the student you have to be aware of your goals. The semester exams are easy but the marking system is tough so some students get a back in their semester. The pass percentage is 45 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study law from a prestigious college within budget. Things which can be improved about LL.B. are that the college administration should have provided and focused more on internships and practical knowledge via visiting courts, jails, and Lok Adalats. Moot courts, societies like legal aid, criminal law society, animal law cell and many international seminars are organised in the college. The campus crowd is huge, approximately 900 seats are available in LL.B. in Law Centre II. The scholarship programme is provided by the financial support scheme every year. For extracurricular activities one can join societies, NGO, NSS, and NCC during their law course.

The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).
