Graduation is the minimum qualification required for DU LLM programme. Below is detailed eligibility for LLM:

• Aspirants need to complete a three or five-year LLB degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognised as equivalent by DU with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for OBC-NCL/ PwD/ CW and 40% aggregate for SC/ ST) or equivalent can apply for LLM course.
• Candidates securing the marks prescribed above or appearing in the qualifying degree examination or awaiting the results of any such examination are eligible to appear in the LLM Entrance Test but the admission will depend on their securing the minimum eligibility marks prescribed above.

Step 1: DU LLM Application Process 2026

Aspirants meeting the eligibility condition can apply online. They need to fill out the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee.

Step 2: Entrance Exam/ Selection

DU accepts CUET PG score for admission to LLM course. The faculty of Law conducts LLM Entrance Test in online mode for a duration of two hours for shortlisting aspirants for LLM admission. 

Step 3: Counselling

All admissions will be made after physical or online counselling. The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. After verification, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

In the past admission to DU courses was based on DUET score. However, CUET is now accepted for DU admission. Below is the previous year cutoff data:

• Admission Ticket LLM Entrance Test
• Age Certificate (High School/ Matriculation)
• Character Certificate (not older than six months on the date of admission)
• Degree Certificate (Provisional Certificate if applicable) of qualifying degree examination
• Marksheet of the qualifying degree examination
• Scheduled Caste/Tribe/EWS & OBC non-creamy layer) /PwD/CW certificate. Non-creamy layer certificate must be of the current financial year or as directed by the Admission Committee of the University of Delhi
• Eight passport size photographs
• Printout of original registration form submitted for registration of admission of LLM
• Any other document as notified on the university website

The number of students placed during the DU placements 2026 are not out yet. However, so far 1095 SRCC students were placed in the 2026 placement season. Additionally, the number of offers provided to Hansraj and LSR students was 130 and more than 160.

No, class 11th subject syllabus is not included in CUET UG exam. Students who are preparing for CUET 2026 exam must focus on class 12th NCERT curriculum. NTA prescribes the CUET UG syllabus on its official website. Candidates must be familar the detailed syllabus mentioned on the NTA CUET official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. However, for better concepts clarity, candidates may refer to the class 11th resources.

NTA CUET 2026 exam will be scheduled in May/June 2026 tentatively. Candidates preparing for board examinations must prepare well for the CUET exam along.

At present, DU consists of 80+ departments including North & South campuses. It has 77 affiliated colleges and 5 other institutes with an enrollment of more than 1.3 lakhs regular and 2.6 lakhs non-regular students. No, Delhi University offers a full-time LLM programme of two to three years duration at the PG level. This course is offered by Faculty of Law under DU. University of Delhi LLM admission is conducted in online mode and for final selection, candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university. CUET PG exam is conducted by NTA and considered by DU for admission to LLM course. Candidates after completing graduation can apply for DU LLM programme.
