I still miss my college days at Hansraj College!
Placements: I passed out in 2025, and placements of Hansraj which were best among others, but for English Hons they were among the lowest. B.Com and Economics students got placements even in range of 30 LPA and more. So, placements at Hansraj were not even a content but make sure you choose the right course.
Infrastructure: From locality to campus size, everything about our college was great. All three A, B, and C blocks were places with modern amenities and AC classrooms gave us every single reason to come for classes daily. There were 3 canteens at our college and when it come for food, we were spoilt for choices. Even the auditorium with a capacity of more than 600 was one of the largest in DU.
Faculty: For a college to stay at top, faculty members play the most vital role, and same goes with Hansraj too. The reason why our college is always among top 3 or top 5 colleges of DU is because faculty members of our college are top class. Like teaching wise, their own personal backgrounds are such that one can never question their credibility.
Other: Hansraj College crowd is one of the best and most happening one. Engagement activities at our college are held every week of the year.

Review of Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Placements: There are two cells, one for internship and one for placement, called Odisha and Abhyas, respectively. They try to bring as many companies as possible. Our recruiters are Wipro, HCL, Google, Nestle, and Samsung. Many more companies come, and these are not particularly for one department. Placements are for the overall campus.
Infrastructure: There are two different blocks old building and a new building. There are good facilities like classrooms, computer labs, and a library for studying. There is an auditorium for gatherings and seminar halls as well. The campus is around 24 acres with a sports ground for basketball, cricket, and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely versed in their subjects. Everyone has different teaching methods like using PPTs and PDFs. They are very supportive towards students who want to do research in any subject. They are well qualified and experienced PhD holders.

MLNC societies are entirely student funded.
Placements: MLNC, DU has below par placements and most students have to search for opportunities off-campus. Sad reality but this is what it is. Very few companies come here for recruitment and soon of the prominent names include the likes of WNS, KPMG and EY among others.
Infrastructure: The fountain at the college entrance is more than anything to describe our infrastructure. Our college has a huge garden and we have some rare flowers there. Security of our college is of next level, apart from our college students, no other student can make their way at our college. The books arrangement in library has been done as per the courses and thus students don't have to struggle to find the books from library.
Faculty: All the faculty members come from an illustrious teaching background and most of them have adopted to modern teaching manuals. Every month, atleast one tutorial class is arranged by them where students can clear all their doubts. I chose B.Com as it is between Hons and B.Com programme but due to a little less score in CUET, I have to chose B.Com.
Other: Above 40 students run societies in our college. Even the placement society SFS is run by the students of our college.

Offers a welcoming campus, quality education and great exposure
Placements: In the Economics Department, 29.8% of students were placed in 2025-26. Overall, the highest salary package was 36.25 LPA with an average of 13 LPA and a median of 12.1 LPA. Prominent recruiters include ICICI Bank, Amazon, Meesho, Blackstone, Redseer, BCG, etc. Additional, 32.9% of Economics students secured internship with organisations such as CleanMax, Worldwide Technology, etc., across roles in marketing, coordination, finance, insurance and other fields.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities like well-ventilated classrooms, comfortable benches, projectors and whiteboards. Tutorial rooms are slightly small but manageable. Wi-Fi connectivity has become consistent since switching to DU Wi-Fi. The library is spacious though book availability could improve. Labs are satisfactory and the hostel reported offers good facilities and decent food.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable. They all are approachable and supportive, especially in the Economics Department. The teaching quality is excellent with concepts explained authentically and effective. Economics offers diverse career opportunities and studying at LSR provides valuable exposure that helps students become industry ready. Semester exams are reasonably balanced and the pass percentage is generally very high.
Other: I was always interested in Economics and learned about LSR and the course through a friend. The course offers immense scope and opportunities although more practical exposure would enhance the learning experience. The campus has a welcoming and comfortable environment with an amazing student crowd and vibrant fests. Scholarships are also available to students through application forms. However, stricter attendance criteria introduced last year have affected participation in extracurricular activities, which needs improvement.

A very good crowd plus a very good campus life.
Placements: DRC's placement cell works on recruitment opportunities, internships, career guidance and corporate interaction. 8% to 18% of students get placements. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, and the lowest was of 2 LPA. The average salary pacakge ranges between 5 to 6 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Brain and co., BCG, D.E. Shaw and co., and Tresvista. 60 to 70% of students of B.Com hons secure good internships in their second or third year. Top roles are financial services and auditing.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is not top notch, but the hostel is really good and is very nice comparing to other north campus college hostels. Whereas college infrastructure can be improved. The new building is no doubt pretty, but it can be improved through proper action
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and the curriculum is also very nice being relevant. It does help make students industry-ready. Teachers are very helpful, and they are friendly. All are very qualified plus knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also very good. Semester exams are of a moderate level.

Review of Dyal Singh College, Delhi.
Placements: We do have placements in our college. Top recruiters are KPMG and Wipro, but one cannot really rely on the college because it selects very few students. One has to have connections. There is an entire selection procedure from interviews to exams, and then you get into companies.
Infrastructure: Our college is huge. There are two blocks, Morning Block and Evening Block. Classrooms are spacious and well-furnished. It has laboratories as well for science students. There is also a canteen for students to eat, and the quality of food is only average. We have indoor and outdoor sports as well to play.
Faculty: The teaching staff is very cooperative. Some are strict, but others are really motivating and supportive. They help us by providing notes and making us understand concepts very easily. Faculty members are well-qualified and experienced in their own domains. I like all my teachers.
