Quite a good experience because of the campus and infrastructure.

Placements: After completing this course you have to pursue a PhD or clear NET-JRF exam. If you you can choose an academic field or you can opt for other exams. There are no such recruiting companies but you can get a chance to work in ISRO and others. The internship depends on your academics.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is based on old themes since it is the first university in North East India. Now the new buildings are amazing. The Wi-Fi facility is working all over the campus. There is a central library called KK Handique Library. There are several playgrounds and indoor stadiums.

Faculty: Teachers are very highly qualified. Most of them have done their PhDs in their field from recognized institutions in India and foreign countries like MIT and such. Exams are not that much difficult. But the results are sometimes late. It is just a degree course.

Other: The fresher's party and versity week organized at this university are amazing.

It's a good college with all facilities.

Placements: 70 percent of students were placed, and the highest package is 18 lacks per annum, the lowest package is 5 lacks per annum, and the medium package is 8 lacks per annum. The top companies recruiting for our courses are HPCL, NAVI, GAIL, TVS, and RD. Seventy percent of students got internships in Navi and HPCL companies, and the top roles offered in my course are executive, cluster in charge, and Animation Supervisors.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the departments are well-designed. They will not provide Wi-Fi, but they will provide labs for each department separately, and they will provide a library where we can get materials. The facilities in the hostel are good, and the quality of food is not that good. The canteen is well-cleaned. There is medical facilities available, and they provide Sports and Games.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and very knowledgeable, and yes, the course is very good. They make students industry-ready. The semester exams are hard to pass, but many students pass with good marks. Masters are the higher degrees of our teachers. The teaching quality is good.

Gauhati university is improving campus.

Placements: The placements here at Gauhati University are average; about 70 percent of us get placed every year and the highest package is around 40 LPA and the average package is around 10 LPA. The M.Sc. students here get job opportunities based on the degree they did before and they mostly go towards the teaching field .

Infrastructure: The facilities here are good but can be improved the classroom and library need improvement and the Wi-Fi in campus is weak. Hostels should be maintained more neatly and the facilities in the hostels must and can be improved more .

Faculty: The faculty here are okay, but some departments don't have good faculty, especially M.Sc. departments so they must be replaced by others. The faculty here have good teaching skills, which help students understand concepts better and improve their learning. The semester exams here are not that hard; one can easily pass and the pass percentage is 4 CGPA.

Other: There are a few events and fests that take place every year and I personally think there is more scope to increase the fest count. The improvement that the course needs is that, as its M.Sc. course, it needs a more practical approach than a theoretical one, the campus connectivity is okay and the extracurricular activities, including sports and other departments, are completely dependent on the students interests.

An awesome university that you are going to find in Assam.

Placements: We have got no placements yet, and there is no policy for giving placement. You can only take the degree there. Sometimes some companies do visit the campus. But I did not see any company visiting in my department, in the past two years. We have to search for a job or go for higher education on our own. Getting a job and getting a seat for the higher education is not their concern. It all depends on us to find these things.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very very good. The buildings and the facilities in the University are very good. Rooms are very big, which will be neat and clean. Most probably this University is the Top university in Assam. So it got lots of funds towards its infrastructure. The labs are very good, and you can find each and everything which is necessary to you. The library is huge and full of books. You can also find all course-related books. The medical and the sports facilities are also good in the college.

Faculty: The faculty in Gauhati University is from all around the country. The faculty are also very good and friendly as well. They help students so much in every situation. All of them were government employees, and they were highly qualified. The number of the faculty is good enough for the academics.
