No, CAT is not the only exam based on which admission is granted. GGSIPU accepts the CAT percentile for MBA admission basis on which a merit list of selected candidates is released for the counselling round. Moreover, for the MBA in IT course, the university conducted IPU CET exam is accepted. In case the seats are left vacant after CAT candidates, then the seat allotment is carried out based on the candidate's CMAT scores.

Candidates seeking admission to the GGSIPU MBA course must visit the official website of the University to apply online. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the CAT entrance examination. IPU also accepts CMAT scores. The final selection will be done on the basis of the student's performance in the Group Discussion & Personal Interview process. However, for IPU MBA in IT admission, GGSIPU conducts IPU CET, followed by a University-level counselling process. 

Aspirants who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50%-60% aggregate are eligible to apply for MBA programme at GGSIPU. Candidates with a 50% score in graduation can also apply provided the requirement of aggregate is 50% or below. For MBA specialisations requiring 60% or above aggregate, candidates need not get admission with 50%.

Yes, GGSIPU accepts CUET scores. For UG courses, CUET-UG and similarly for the PG courses, CUET-PG is applicable. However, it must be noted that preference is given to CUET scores after the respective national-level exams and the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Some of the UG and PG programmes for which this entrance score is accepted are MCA, MA, BSc, BBA and allied programmes, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc.

Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, BSc MLT, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT and MPO courses. IPU CET exam 2026 application forms for other courses, open tentatively in March every year. • PhD admissions for winter session is open. The university will conduct the entrance test on Dec 22, 2025.
• The NEET UG Counselling 2025 has concluded, with the final seat allotment result of the stray vacancy round for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc (Nursing) courses.
• The CMAT 2026 exam is expected to be held in Jan 2026 for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses.
• The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
• The CUET UG 2026 registration window is expected to open in the first week of Mar 2026 for admission to UG courses.
• The NIMCET 2026 application form is anticipated to be available in April 2026 for admission to the MCA course.
• The CLAT 2026 exam for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM courses will be held on Dec 7, 2025.
• The XAT registration process 2026 is now open for MBA/PGDM courses. The last date to register is Dec 5, 2025. Furthermore, the XAT 2026 exam will be held on Jan 4, 2026.
