IPU BA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IP University BA course is offered across different specialisations. The duration of the BA programmes is three years, while BA (Hons) courses are of four years. Some of the specialisations in which the course is available are Journalism and Mass Communication, Economics, English, etc.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.

IPU BA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
IP University BA application process is conducted in online mode. The candidates selection for the BA course is entrance-based. IP University admission process is a multi-step procedure involving registration for the accepted exam, release of the cutoff list, counselling, and seat allotment. The steps mentioned below show the entire process for IPU BA course admission:
STEP 1: IP University BA Application Process 2025
The university accepts applications via online mode. The steps to be followed for the IPU BA application process are:
1.1: Go to the official website of IPU (www.ipu.ac.in).
1.2: Select the desired BA course.
1.3: Fill out the application form.
1.4: Attach all necessary documents.
1.5: Pay the IP University application form.
STEP 2: Selection Process
Applications are then shortlisted based on IPU CET/CUET scores. The university publishes a cutoff/merit list to declare the names of the selected students. During admissions, seats are filled through CUET after seats are left vacant for admission based on merit in IPU CET.
STEP 3: Confirmation of Admissions
Candidates who meet the course cutoff can then take part in counselling. In this round, documents are verified and the admission fee has to be paid. IPU BA fees range between INR 2 lakh and INR 5.1 lakh.

GGSIPU is a government university. GGSIPU is a UGC approved university. Being a government university, the fee for various courses is not very high. The tuition fee for UG/ PG courses like BTech is INR 2.3L - INR 7.4L & M.Tech is INR 1.9 L - INR 2.8 L.

GGSIPU has all the qualities of a tier 1 university. The university placements are good. Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and CloudTechner recently offered placement packages to the AI & ML & AI-DS students. The infra of the university is also good. The classrooms are embedded with the latest & modern

BTech tuition fees at GGSIPU is INR 7.6 Lacs for all BTech courses in the academic year 2026. However, candidates are also required to pay other fees in the form of university charges, alumni deposit, development and infrastructure fees and others on top of the aforementioned tuition fees.
