Q:   How can someone get admission to the B.Tech (Lateral Entry) program at IP University?
A: 

To get admission for BTech Lateral Entry at IP University candidates must appear for IPU CET. Lateral entry to BTech course is permitted for candidates with a Diploma or BSc Degree. For Diploma holders the IPU CET exam code is 128. For BSc Degree holders the IPU CET exam code is 129. The candidates should check the syllabus for the exam and prepare accordingly.

Q:   Can the candidates raise objection related the questions asked in IPU CET 2025?
A: 

If candidates have any queries or objections related to a IPU CET 2025 questions or its answer options, they can only submit them through an online "Objection Link" provided on the GGSIPU website within a specific timeframe. Details regarding this link will be communicated to all candidates who have attended the online examination via their registered email IDs and mobile alerts. Any representations made after this timeframe will not be considered. It is important to note that objections or complaints submitted through any other mode of communication will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Q:   When will I get the User ID and password for the IPU CET 2025 computer-based test?
A: 
The Candidate will receive their User ID and Password for the IPU CET Computer Based Test (CBT) at their designated computer terminal. They will receive it 10 minutes prior to the start of the examination. They will need to enter the Login ID and Password provided at the examination centre to access the Computer Based Test. It is important to verify that the name and photograph displayed on the computer screen are accurate after logging in. After which the candidates can proceed with the test.

Q:   Is IPU CET more difficult than JEE Main?
A: 

IPU CET (BTech) follows an NCERT-based syllabus covering Class 11 and 12 topics, whereas JEE Main includes NCERT concepts along with advanced topics. The question type in IPU CET is mostly conceptual and application-based, while JEE Main requires more analytical and problem-solving skills. In terms of difficulty level, IPU CET is considered moderate, whereas JEE Main is significantly more challenging. The competition level in IPU CET is also lower, as it is limited to admissions in GGSIPU-affiliated colleges, whereas JEE Main is a national-level exam with extremely high competition for NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs.
