The ILSAT Application Process 2026 for Phase 2 is over. The ICFAI Law School published the ILSAT Application Form 2026 for each phase separately on the official website. Candidates interested in admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB courses could apply for ILSAT 2026 on or before the last date. For phase 2, candidates could complete the ILSAT Application Process until May 7, 2026. Candidates who completed the application form were issued only the ILSAT hall ticket. For phase 1, the last date to submit the application form was December 13, 2025.

Candidates looking forward to appearing in ILSAT Exam could check the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form. It is to avoid any problem in the future as the exam authority had the right to reject the application form in case all eligibility criteria are not met

Stream Any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) is accepted.

How to fill ILSAT 2026 Application Form?

Candidates could apply as per the process mentioned below

Online Registration and Application Form- On the official website of ICFAI Law School, click on the Apply button. A new page opens up where candidates need to click on the course of their choice. Candidates need to select their course, and a new page will open for the application form, which they have to fill out.

Candidates need to fill in the details in the ILSAT 2026 application form, including course selection, test centre selection, personal details, Aadhaar card number, mobile number, as well as uploading a photograph and parents' details. Following this, candidates have to fill in their address. Next, candidates have to fill out their academic qualifications. Moreover, candidates also have to select their source of knowing the ILSAT application form 2026 along with a statement of purpose.

Pay ILSAT Application Fee- Candidates applying in the online mode can pay the ILSAT application fee, i.e., INR 1000, in an online mode using credit card/ debit card/ net banking options. Next, the online payment gateway opens to process the application fee, and candidates need to make the payment.

Submit ILSAT Application Form- The application form needs to be submitted in online mode only, and candidates are advised to keep a download copy of the submitted application form for future references. They need not send the application form to the official address.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria to appear in ILSAT Exam?
A: 

To be eligible for ILSAT (for UG courses like BBA LLB/BA LLB), you need to have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 50% aggregate marks in English medium in a single attempt, from any stream, and should not exceed the age limit (usually 21 years as of July of the admission year), while LLM applicants need a law degree with 50% marks. Students awaiting their 10+2 results can also apply, and qualifying the ILSAT exam (or having valid CLAT/LSAT scores) is mandatory. 

Q:   Is there any age limit to apply for ILSAT Exam?
A: 

Yes, there is an age limit for the ILSAT for undergraduate programs. Candidates must be 21 years or younger as of the start of the first semester. This can change based on Bar Council of India rules. For PG courses there is no age limit.

Q:   What is the duration of ILSAT Exam?
A: 

The ILSAT Exam is held for two hours. Candidates must note that the exam is conducted in online mode.

ILSAT 2026 Application Form - Offline mode

Candidates could also apply for ILS Hyderabad in offline mode by downloading the application form available on the official website only. The application form had to be filled and submitted along with a Demand Draft (DD) for application fee payment.

The DD should be drawn in favour of “IFHE - Prospectus Fee A/c ILSAT 2026” and to be payable at Hyderabad only. Moreover, candidates need to send the application form enclosed with DD via speed post or courier on the following address:

Candidates could download ILSAT admit card for appearing in the entrance exam as under:

  2. The admit card login window will up, enter application ID and password to log in

A good score for the ILSAT is 80 percentile or above for 5-year LLB courses. The exam consists of 125 MCQs with no negative marking.
