Yes, IIT Delhi is a good institute for MSc aspirants. The institute has got a good overall rank from NIRF in the 2023 rankings. It has been ranked at the third spot among top colleges in the country. Moreover, IIT Delhi also provide placements support. As per its 2023 placement report, the median package offered to PG (2-year) candidates was INR 12.50 LPA. Yes, IIT Delhi offers a two-year full-time MSc course at the postgraduate level. The programme is offered across different specialisations. IIT Delhi admission to various MSc specialisations differs. For IITD MSc admission in Chemistry is based on a valid IIT JAM score, followed by a CCMN Counselling round. IIT Delhi JAM Cutoff 2024 was different in terms of the opening and Closing ranks. In 2024, the last-round closing cutoff ranks for different MSc courses among the General AI categories closed at a range of 32 and 541. Whereas, in 2023, the Cutoff ranks for different courses closed at a range of 11 and 164, during it's last round. 50 students received domestic offers with package more than INR 1 crore per annum during the IIT Delhi placement drive 2023. Further, the highest international package offered during IIT Delhi placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 crore per annum. 

IIT Delhi OBC cutoff 2025 for JEE Advanced is yet to be released. However, during the last round cutoff in 2024, the JEE Advanced closing ranks for BTech admission varied between 89 and 3185 in the All India quota. In the first round, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission compared to the final round. Therefore, based on last year's cutoff ranks, a JEE Advanced rank of 7000 does not allow for admission at IIT Delhi for any BTech or Integrated BTech courses for students belonging to the OBC AI category.

Candidates who meet the course-specific eligibility criteria and have a valid GATE score can apply. Aspirants can complete the application form through the IIT Delhi official website. This is for M.Tech full-time programmes. For part-time/sponsored full-time courses, eligible candidates can register directly at the official website. Admission to part-time M.Tech is based on a written exam and interview round conducted by the institute.

At end of IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25, a total of 1,200 offers were made and 1,150 students were placed. In addition, more than 50 international offers were made during IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25. 

Core (Technical) emerged as the top recruiting sector with placement distribution of 34% during IIT Delhi placement 2025. It was followed by IT, Consulting and Management sectors.

Some of the top recruiters that visited during IIT Delhi placements 2023 include Microsoft, Rakuten Mobile, HCL Technologies, Accenture, Graviton Research Capital LLP, Brain & Company, EXL Analytics, Cisco, Jaguar Land Rover India Limited and McKinsey & Company. At the end of Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2023, a record-breaking 1,300 offers were received. Further, 230 PPOs were received during IIT Delhi placements 2022.
