A total of 1,200 offers were made and 1,150 students were placed during the Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2025. Further, more than 50 international offers were made during IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25.

As per the QS World University Rankings, IIT Delhi is the third best institute in India and 174th globally. In the NIRF rankings, it has been ranked at the second spot under the "Engineering" category. Candidates get good placement opportunities. The highest international and domestic package offered was INR 2 crore per annum and INR 1.25 crore per annum. In IIT Delhi placements, 50 students received package more than INR 1 crore per annum (domestic). Thus, it is great if a candidate gets admission at IIT Delhi.

IIT Delhi MTech admission is completely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the IIT Delhi MTech course must appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). However, BTech graduates from IITs with an overall CGPA of 8.00 out of 10 are exempted from GATE and are eligible for direct admissions. Apart from this, candidates are also requested to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria to be eligible for IIT Delhi MTech admission.

JEE Advanced Cutoff 2025 for BTech course ranged from 126 to 5733 for students in the General AI category, so therefore a student should attain a rank of 5733 or preferably lower to increase their chances of admission to IIT Delhi. Please note that BTech cutoff 2025 will vary according to different rounds, courses, specialisations and categories. 50 students received domestic offers with package more than INR 1 crore per annum during the IIT Delhi placement drive 2023. Further, the highest international package offered during IIT Delhi placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 crore per annum. 

IIT Delhi MSc fee structure is cumulative of various components, including tuition fees, hostel fees, student welfare fund, alumni fees, training and placement charges, etc. Candidates who get selected have to pay the required admission fees to confirm their candidature. IIT-Delhi MSc tuition fee range from INR 30,000 to INR 70,000. This fee amount is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

IIT Delhi OBC cutoff 2025 for JEE Advanced is yet to be released. However, during the last round cutoff in 2024, the JEE Advanced closing ranks for BTech admission varied between 89 and 3185 in the All India quota. In the first round, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission compared to the final round. Therefore, based on last year's cutoff ranks, a JEE Advanced rank of 7000 does not allow for admission at IIT Delhi for any BTech or Integrated BTech courses for students belonging to the OBC AI category.
