Review of International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar.
Placements: Almost 85% of students placed in our course in different companies. The highest package is 25 LPA and the lowest package is 8 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA in the year 2024. Top recruiting companies of our course are Qualcomm, Oracle, etc. About 50% of students got internships in DE Shaw and Big Binary.
Infrastructure: In my course, we have almost all labs. Most labs are available each semester to get well practical and understanding. There are many digital classrooms to understand topics easily.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Most faculty members are highly qualified. They have done their PhD from top colleges like IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is very relevant and it is very useful for the students to become industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult and some exams are moderate. Faculty members are highly qualified and the academics are very good.
Other: Nowadays software has huge competition and everyone is choosing it so I preferred electronics. This course also has huge demand in both sectors like software and hardware. The infrastructure of the campus would be better. An event called Advaita is organised every year which is a huge event of the college.

My College is good I think it could be better also in the future.
Placements: Minimum 70% of students get placed including off-campus and on-campus. About 40% of students are placed on campus and rest go for good off-campus placements. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. DE Shaw, Informatica, and Oracle are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. It is 23 acres based college campus. Every facility is available here on campus. Every topic has its own lab. One can rate 3 out of 5 for labs of Chemistry and workshops. Wi-Fi facility is also available inside campus. Classrooms are good and projector available in every classroom.
Faculty: All teachers are PhD qualified. They are all knowledgeable but we should do our own to get the best productivity. Courses have their own curriculum and and are fully subject oriented. Course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. Semestar exams are quite hard.
Other: I am interested in Electronics and Telecommunication that's why I chose this course. IIIT is a good tag that can make one proud too. I think the campus should be a little better.

Satisfied with the faculty and placements, okay infrastructure and bad mess food.
Placements: 100% of the students of the 2023 batch were placed and the placements for 2024 batch are still ongoing. A good amount of companies visit the campus. For the 2023 batch, more than 40 companies visited for 350 students. The lowest package was 6 Lacs, the highest was 39 Lacs by media. Net. Companies like Oracle, Siemens also hire from our campus. The average package for IT branches is 9lpa and for electronics it is 7.5lpa.
Infrastructure: The library is equipped with all the necessary books. The mess food quality is bad and the number of items on the menu is very low. We have a great fest and sporting facilities are also good. The college has a gym and a dispensary. The Wi-Fi is fast with an average speed of 100 mbps.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. Almost all of them are from IITs. The curriculum is also up to date. The college offers a lot of electives that are in demand in the industry. The level of semester exams is moderate and it's not too tough to pass.

IIIT BHU Review: What you need to know.
Placements: As you approach the end of your 6th semester and get ready to move into the 7th, campus placements become a significant consideration. A variety of 30 to 40 prestigious companies, such as Oracle, Dell, and Adobe, participate actively in this requirement process. But being in the EEE branch, etc., it's a little hard to get good placements. The highest on-campus job offers speak at 35 LPA with an average of 7 LPA. It's worth mentioning that 80% of students secure positions in respected organizations, reflecting a story of success and accomplishment.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure and facilities of classrooms and academic buildings, they are well maintained and clean, and Wi-Fi facilities are available everywhere around the campus, including hostels, labs and classrooms. Classrooms are not air conditioned but labs and reading rooms are. To be honest, the hostel facility is actually impressive. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom facilities are also of good quality; they are cleaned daily and well maintained. Another thing is that laundry services are provided free of charge, saving time on washing clothes. Also, there is a gym attached to it. The mess serves good food, though there are occasional exceptions, while the canteen offers consistently good food.
Faculty: The course curriculum changed under the New Education policy for the 2024 students, with mixed feedback from the faculty, i.e., some are just really amazing while others are not so student-friendly. In terms of exam difficulty, the midterm exam was manageable, but the end-of-semester exam is slightly more difficult. The student-to-faculty ratio is 60:1, with many faculty members being alumni of NITs, IITs or other Odisha government colleges.
Other: The campus covers about 25 acres, making it relatively compact. Our cultural festival, Advaita, takes place in the first week of March. In addition, students have access to sports facilities, including a football field, a cricket field, a basketball court, two badminton courts and a tennis court. Also, there are good facilities for indoor games like table tennis, carrom and chess in student common rooms. Furthermore, there are 13 student-run societies on campus.

IIIT, Bhubaneswar, offers fun and opportunities as a package.
Placements: Placements in this college are on a growing curve now. The number of companies that visit campus for the placements is also increasing year by year. Each year, more than 96% of students get placed in on-campus placements. Apart from this, multiple internship opportunities are provided as well. The top recruiters for this course last year were Dell, Mc Kinsey, Turtlemint, TCS, Infosys etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The hostels are well-maintained and are cleaned every day. Hostel Wi-Fi is a little slow at times, but it works fine all other times. The classrooms are spacious. The labs are well maintained too. The library is a storehouse of numerous books, newspapers, magazines, and research papers. Mess food, as expected, is quite normal most of the time. If you get lucky, then sometimes it's great. Taste-wise, the food in the canteen is much better. There are 6-7 shops near the canteen which sell almost everything that a student might need, stationary, basic medicines, personal hygiene items, snacks etc.
Faculty: As in every college, our college also has a mix of both supportive and stubborn faculty members. As a matter of fact, everyone is well-educated and qualified, but a few are really bad at conveying the message of what they're trying to teach. The course curriculum is much like any other college in India, like IITs, NITs etc. The difficulty of semester exams depends on the professors, but as there is relative grading, a lot of things get even out.
Other: There are many active societies that regularly conduct fests, events, webinars, and in-person interactive sessions. Interested students get a lot of benefits from these. These revolve around a plethora of domains like programming, technology, design, art, acting, cultural activities, writing, entrepreneurship, sports etc.

The placement Statistics of IIIT is very good.
Placements: Around 99 percent of students are placed from our course. The highest package of this year was 25 lacs per year, the lowest package was 3.5 lacs per year and average package was 5-6 lacs per year. Top recruiting companies are cognizant, Capgemini, LTI, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostel is quite good. The college has Wi-Fi facility which the students can access in the campus anytime. The library has good infrastructure. There are books of different genre, magazines, newspapers, etc. The quality of mess food is average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful when needed. They provide important notes about the topic that they teach and also conduct surprise, quiz test to check the understanding of students about the subject. The course curriculum is relevant and it make the students industry ready. The semester exams are quite difficult and the minimum pass marks is 33 out of 100 marks.
Other: I chose this course as I was very keen to learn about the topics of this course. The tech fest name is Advaita which is held every year in the month of February.

Placements are very good. Almost all students got a job. The placement rate is improving per year.
Placements: About 95% of students get placed in IT companies. Not any core company visits here to recruit students. The highest salary package offered was 44 LPA in Microsoft, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. Top companies which visit here are Amazon, Microsoft, E&Y, Infosys, IBM, etc. TCS and Infosys visit here for mass recruitment.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi service, and labs are average. The food quality is the worst. The hostel facility is not very good, but single rooms are also provided with extra fees. 3 sharing and 2 sharing room options are available. Tennis court, basketball court and volleyball court are available. There is also a ground for cricket and football.
Faculty: The course which I chose is better for further research option. Teachers are not quite good but moderate. Teachers for this branch are well qualified. This course provides us with better knowledge for research as well as to prepare for jobs. But none of the core companies used to visit for placements.
Other: Our college provides research-oriented teaching in this branch. It is very helpful for further M.Tech study.

A good IT college, Core? Not so much.
Placements: Excluding people who opted out of the placements, almost everybody else landed up with a job in their hand. Although all the recruiters belonged to the IT industries. There is very less scope of getting placed in an electronics company. The roles offered by the IT companies were mostly of SDE and so were the internships. The highest package soared up to 43 LPA from Microsoft. However the average package remained at 5-6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies included Informatica, Dell, Quantiphi, and a few others.
Infrastructure: There are two types a hostels a boarder can opt for. There are shared and single room facilities. However, a boarder is only allowed to opt for a single room after he/she is done with their first year. The campus is compact if it were to be described in one word. The old hostel comes with a mess, operation hours vary. The new hostel has laundry facilities. The rooms are clean and are the hallways and other hostel premises are kept clean. There is no AC in the classrooms. All the computing labs are air conditioned. The library is accessible to students at any time between 9 am to 8 pm during weekdays and 5 pm on Saturdays. The library remains closed during any public holiday or Sundays.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are very knowledgeable and ace at their areas of expertise. However, the teaching quality varies. For etc., most of the teachers are quite strict and profusely rule abiding. It totally depends upon how much you interact with the teachers and their impression on you to receive any sort of guidance from them. The course structure has been recently updated for the upcoming batches so it's a good sign. The course the 2020 batch and before followed was a bit outdated.
Other: The most entertaining four days of the college are the ADVAITA days. The fest organised by the college is absolutely stunning. The techno-cult fest has everything starting from tech events, hackathons to fashion shows, dance offs, rap battles, eating challenges, you name it. Famous personalities like Gajendra Verma, Arjun Kanungo, The Local Train band and so many more have performed during the fest at Pronites. The extra curricular activities you can indulge in totally depends on your capacity.
