Very good placements, infrastructure, and environment.
Placements: For computer engineering branch batch 2023, 98% of the students got placed with 60% for internships as well. The highest package was 20 LPA. The lowest salary was 6 LPA. The average salary was around 8.5 LPA - 9 LPA. The top recruiters were Oracle and Siemens (both 18 LPA) where 30% of the students were placed, and Dell (8.5 LPA). Many in my course were placed with a double-digit package. Top roles offered were software developer and data analyst. Placement cell efforts were commendable and provided a helping hand in case to a few unplaced students even after they passed out of college in getting them placed.
Infrastructure: Classroom infrastructure was good and well-designed. Library was good with plenty of books. Labs were average. There was lack of proper equipment. Sports/games facilities were good on campus, and tournaments were conducted regularly. Campus good for walking and relaxing. Hostel was not that bad to live if maintained well. But there
was a separate well-built hostel for meritorious students if they opt to live there. Mess food quality was not worth the price paid. Canteen food was a better option. Wi-Fi or internet facilities were not very good on the campus probably due to the college being situated in a bit of outskirts location.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members were good but some were average. Teachers were qualified and helpful for sure but lacked a bit of quality teaching and engaging students well. Course curriculum for my batch was quite irrelevant for the first 2 years, and students had to purely rely on self-efforts to be industry-ready. Semester exams had a good standard of question papers, prepared well, and you passed. But few subjects might be a bit difficult. Pass percentage was usually 98-100% but for difficult subjects it could be 85-90%.
Other: Being an information technology university, the computer science and IT courses were better here and the placement scope was also good. It would be better if the college management prepared the students to be industry-ready by making them do more practical implementation of the subjects then the results would be even better. Events, fests, campus surroundings, and extra-curricular activities were good. Scholarships were provided as well for meritorious students.

Decent college with good students and average infrastructure. I'm satisfied with it.
Placements: Placements are average for computer engineering. Some of them get on-campus placements and some off-campus. Overall about 65% of students get placed till the final year. The placement rate is better than 3rd-tier colleges. It is less than IITs/NITs. The highest package is 80 LPA. The lowest is 5 LPA. Companies like Oracle, Dell, IBM, HDPS, Infosys, etc., recruit many students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. You have to not expect much from government institutions. Seniors are supportive if you reach out. Wi-Fi is available 24/7 with good speed. Every floor has routers. The library is a bit disappointing. It has mostly subject-related books only. Unlike other colleges, the library remains closed at weekends. It closes at 8 PM. All labs are present and well-maintained. There is one college store at the campus, one Nescafe, and a mess for hostellers. Hostels are available on the 1st and 2nd floors. The food is decent for the price. Classrooms are spacious and fine.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Exam papers are checked strictly. CGPA is evaluated relatively. It is not absolute like other colleges. Many students fail. Some even carry up to 10 back in till 3rd year. College courses are a bit old-fashioned but events organized by the college societies are great.
Other: I researched computer engineering and not to be confused with computer science engineering. It is a very versatile field with great scope. Very few colleges in India provide this course. Unfortunately, CE is just another CSE branch here. In the end, you are going to graduate with a CSE or IT degree only. The campus is small. It would have been better if it was a bit larger. The location is in a decent town. The main city is 20 minutes away. Scholarships are provided to a few Odia students only. But good things are that it has good supportive seniors, good events, etc.

Just an amazing college with adequate amenities.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 39 LPA and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Dell, De Shaw, Oracle, TCS, Infosys, Tejas Network, Mindfire, Informatica, etc. Roles offered in these companies are SDE 1, 2, senior software developer, frontend, backend, and data engineer.
Infrastructure: All classrooms, labs, academic blocks, and hostel blocks are Wi-Fi enabled with good internet speed. Library has huge collection of books. Quality of food in mess is not that good, just okay. There is Nescafe canteen available on campus. All sports facilities are available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified degree holders from renowned colleges in India like IIT. Teaching quality is average. Course curriculum is very recent and also relevant. At the end of fourth year course makes students industry industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate enough.

IIIT Bhubaneswar in a nutshell.
Placements: Placements are decent; this college is known this much for its placement only, as the number of people placed for the number of people applied for placement is very high. But the highest salary only goes around 25 Lacs, the average is around 10 Lacs, and the majority gets placed in lower packages.
Infrastructure: I am not going to say much about infrastructure because there isn't much to talk about it, but there are labs for every subject required for the course, and all are functioning, just not very modern. The infrastructure in hostels is quite bad, and it may become a problem for new students.
Faculty: Faculty members are decent; some are good, some are bad, but average experience is good. The curriculum is almost the same as other colleges, so there's no difference in that. The exams are a little tough here, and the exam environment is very strict and disciplined.

Placements: The maximum ratio is 8 out of 10. The highest package offered is 45 LPA. Companies like IBM and Oracle are among the best, but there are other companies as well. You can proceed to your browser and visit the website for more information. Okay, it's your choice to choose between CSE, IT, or CE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Everything is okay. The hostels are also of good quality. Visit the college for your needs; however, the mess food is not as good. There are other societies for those who want to join different sports or curricula. You can participate as much as you want. Okay.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified and good, helping in every exam. The teaching quality is very good; everything is okay. You can choose your own stream. Not all subjects are difficult, but some are. Take your time and read for your exams in the reading room.

Go for IITs and top NITs.
Placements: In my course, most of the students get placed based on their skills and efforts. The highest package was 30 LPA which was offered by Mind Tree and it was Off Campus. The lowest was 4 LPA in a service based company. Average is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters are Oracle, Infosys with Dell as the mass recruiter. But from this year, i.e. 2022, Microsoft will start hiring from our college. Placement stats for this year have not been announced by our college, but as per my knowledge, 7-8 students from my course have successfully cracked internship in Oracle. Most of the students uplift their skills on their own by learning web development, Blockchain and machine learning. One student from our college has grabbed 86 LPA in a foreign blockchain company. Every year, placement stats are improving with tech giants showing interest in hiring our college students.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are mostly sharing maximum three students in old hostel. Students who want privacy may opt for single bedded room which is available in the new hostel but it will cost very much as compared to the old hostel. But Wi-Fi quality is very poor. One has to depend on mobile data. Library is not as good as compared to IITs but it is satisfactory. Mostly course related books are there in the library. A reading room is also there. Classrooms are small but well equipped. Computer labs are not in good condition. None of the computers are working properly in labs. Food in the mess is good as compared to other colleges. Weekly coupon system is there to avail mess service. Students have the choice to choose between veg and non-veg. But students bored of mess food can enjoy didi's kitchen which is a canteen inside our campus. Nescafe outlet is there in the college. No medical facility is available. Sports and Games are not in good condition. There is no badminton court and no proper cricket ground.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly graduates from IITs and some professors have graduated from foreign universities too. Some are really excellent in teaching but most of the teachers lack teaching skills. They are helpful and will clear your doubts. CSE course is most relevant in today's technological world. You will learn computer Science with a proper balance between software and hardware. Curriculum is really tough here as compared to other colleges. Semester exams are average. One can easily score well by just studying a week before the exams. But teachers check the answer sheets tightly and many students face backs in their semester exams.
Other: Campus crowd is not as similar to NITs and IITs as here students enroll in 5 branches. Gender ratio is very poor. Scholarship schemes are available for the residents of Odisha. But one can get stipend if he/she performs excellent in the semester exams. The college is in the outer area of Bhubaneswar but here, government Bus is available at a very low cost. The college has a good connectivity with railway stations. The campus is not very big.

If you want CSE blindly then you can come here. It is a good college and better than almost 18 IIITs
Placements: Placements have not been good in the past few years. But after 2019, they have improved for CSE /CE/ IT. The average package lies around 8 LPA and for EEE, etc. the average package is around 5 LPA. Overall, the package is around 7 LPA. But remember that skills matter a lot, whether you go for on-campus or off-campus placement.
Infrastructure: Buildings are old. The structure is good but they do not maintain it. The college was built in 2008. The infrastructure is good but if they maintain it then it will look amazing. We have a tennis court and a badminton court, but you will have to carry your own equipments. The campus is around 25 acres.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers are B.Tech, M.Tech and PhDs from this college itself. If you are not from Odissa then it may become difficult for you to understand their language. They teach in English but Odia accent is mixed. Self-study is very important in this course.
Other: I am in 1st year and no fest has been organized in our college yet.

Our college is above average in terms of placements.
Placements: College provides good placements for CSE, CE, and IT. Around 8 GPA is required for good placements. branches like EEE may get a placement if they work hard. The highest salary package is 76 LPA. The top recruiting company is Dell.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is being improved. All the necessities are fulfilled by the management. Library consists of a required number of books. Food taste in the hostel is average. Hostel rooms are excellent.
Faculty: A lot more work should be done by the students for their improvement. There are various societies for the improvement of an individual.
Other: Campus life is not satisfied.

But if at all you dont get it, you have a equally good or even far better option in LPU !
You will get 20% scholarship also on basis of this score, while I would again suggest to go in for LPUNEST to improve your scholarship to 35%.
