Placements: At least 95% of students got placed per year in a Bachelor of Engineering course. The highest package is 1.5 crore per year. The lowest package is 5 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA. Companies like Texas Instruments, Wells Fargo, Oracle, CESC, PwC, HSBC, ICICI Bank, etc., visit the college to recruit students every year.
Infrastructure: Every department has its own library and Wi-Fi. Each classroom is air-conditioned and contains a projector. Both boys' and girls' hostels (3 each) are available for students coming from far rural areas.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Some professors belong to the top 2% of scientists in the world. Their teaching method is beyond raiseable. The course curriculum includes lab and workshop work which help a lot for working in the tech field in the future. Faculty members are very much dedicated to their teaching and care a lot for students.
Other: Only this university in West Bengal provides a bachelor of engineering degree with affordable fees and the highest placement offers, so I chose it. Course curriculum should be more accurate for higher studies entrance examinations like GATE qualifying. There are so many events like cultural (Sanskriti), tech (Srijan), film fest ( Chhayanat), etc.

A brief review of Jadavpur University.
Placements: The placements at JU are excellent. About 95% of students from each department are placed. The packages are also quite good. For CSE, the average and maximum packages were 20 LPA and 65 LPA, respectively, with major recruiters being Google, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. For the electrical department, the average and maximum packages were 10 LPA and 35 LPA, respectively, with the major recruiters being CESC, Texas Instruments, Bechtel, etc. Students got placed in core jobs in these companies. Overall, the placements have been impressive year after year, in spite of the recession.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at JU are also quite good. The classrooms and labs might feel a bit old-fashioned, but other facilities are good. There is wi-fi to which we have free access. The library has a huge amount of books, journals, magazines, research papers, etc. There is also a common reading room where we can study at pace. As I am not a president of the hostel, I cannot describe the hostel facilities. There are also facilities for sports and games. Competitions for cricket, football, and badminton are held every year.
Faculty: The faculty here is very learned and experienced in their respective fields. They also have many contacts in the industries. They focus more on understanding concepts and their practical application rather than writing learning. The course structure and curriculum are very flexible and relevant according to the industry needs. Exams are held two times in a semester: midterms of 30 marks with a 60% syllabus and endsems of 100 marks with a full syllabus. The subjects in electrical engineering are quite difficult, so performing well in exams requires hard work. However, they are manageable and maximum students pass.

Jadavpur University - The university with the best return of Investment.
Placements: Almost 95% of students were placed with roles in software, core, and consulting companies. The highest salary was 36 LPA offered by Texas Instruments. PWC took the maximum of 13 students. About 20% of students got internships in electrical engineering. In internship also PWC took 12 students and remaining got roles as SDE in different MNCs.
Infrastructure: The department has fully air-conditioned classes with a syllabus taught by extremely talented faculties, some of whom are among the top 2% of scientists worldwide. The hostel is a bit old and needs to be repaired. The mess food is quite good with minimal fees.
Faculty: Most of the material covered in class is taught by the highly skilled instructors. However, I feel the syllabus is a bit outdated and needs to be updated. The exams are quite tough and without thorough studying, it is difficult to score good marks. The pass marks is 40 marks out of 100.
Other: I initially wanted to take CSE but could not manage it due to my rank in WBJEE. However, taking EE was indeed a blessing in disguise, as I can now explore both core and coding domains. The campus life of Jadavpur University is unmatched, with almost no restrictions.

Dedicated faculty, awesome laboratory class for students, and beautiful college life experience.
Placements: Placement parentage is about 97%. It has stepped down a little. Otherwise, it's good. Specially the packages are really awesome. Average package is around 10.2 lpa. The highest package for last year is 37 lpa, and the lowest is around 4 lpa. Students get jobs in core software as well as consulting companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the course is best. Always reviewed by professor. If needed, they change it for the outside world. The quality of education is too good. I am not a hostel resident, so can't say much. But it's okay. JU has open public WiFi, so we can access it at any place on campus. Libraries are packed up with books.
Faculty: Faculty is too good. Most of them are listed in Stanford as 2 percent scientists. They teach us well. Curriculum is packed up with different events like seminars, projects, etc. Exams are conducted by the university itself. So the question quality is pretty tough yet good.

Absolutely value for money college. Best ROI possible in whole India. Go for it.
Placements: The highest package is 37 LPA, and the faculty is extremely good. Also, proper labs are provided with good infrastructure. Also, seniors are really very helpful in every task possible. Also, it is an over 100-year-old branch, which has the only impulse generator in the high-voltage lab in the whole of North India.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really very nice with a touch of heritage. Also, there are so many labs and workshops in our college for various purposes. Also, labs are equipped with high-end instruments. And there are open-air auditoriums for cultural activities.
Faculty: There are two exams in every semester; they are CT (class test) and final semester exams. The full marks are 100 per subject with variable weightage. Also, the CTs are 30 marks per subject. And the final exams are of 100 marks, from which 70% marks are taken.

Absolutely satisfied studying in JU.
Placements: Placements in my branch were about 96% last year. The highest package was about 40 LPA and the lowest was about 4.5 LPA. Average was nearly 10-12 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Texas Instruments, PWC and Airbus. The percentage of on-campus internships was a little low, about 15%. Top roles offered were in core, Consultancy and software.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is enabled in our entire campus. Labs in my department are well-equipped and classes are also equipped with smart boards. There is a central library in the university as well as a as a departmental library for every department. The quality of facilities is also good in hostels. And canteen food is also very good and hygienic. Also, there is a health centre and sports facilities on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers are definitely well-informed and highly qualified professionals and their teaching quality is also very good. They always help out students whenever they need it. Course curriculum is B.E. here compared to B.Teach in other engineering colleges, but they are definitely competent enough to make students ready for industry. Semester exams are a little tougher and there are also provisions for supplementary exams for students failing to qualify them in one attempt.
Other: I chose this course because it is one of the best engineering college to study in India and I was passionate about study electrical engineering, hence my choice. There are many cultural and technical festivals like Sanskriti, Srijan, etc. Occurring throughout the year. And the campus is a vibrant one. There are also facilities for applying scholarships for needy students, like SVMCM and Siemens.

Review for my Jadavpur University.
Placements: 95 percent of students are placed. The highest average and the lowest packages are varied for different companies: 35 LPA is the highest package, with an average of 10 to 12 LPA and the lowest of 5 to 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Texas, Cognito, and Qualcomm.
85 percent of students and above got internships from the above-mentioned companies and also from ITC and others. Software engineer, business analyst, software developer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: All the departments and campus have full Wi-Fi facilities available. Hostel facilities are good, food quality in the mess and canteen is better, and medical facilities are also available. Sports and games are also held many times a year, as are prize distribution ceremonies.
Faculty: Teachers are more helpful and highly qualified and most of them are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching quality is excellent.
The course curriculum is relevant but it should be more upgraded. It should be an industry but in a smaller amount. Semester exam questions are moderate to hard. Pass percentage is almost all 98 percent.
Other: I chose the Electrical Engineering course as it is a core department, has many advantages over other departments, is available for the IT sector, government jobs, core jobs, and many other facilities.
The course curriculum and syllabus must be upgraded. Srijan, Sanskriti, and Convolution are the tech and normal fests held from Feb to April, and for freshers, the campus surroundings are full of trees, it is all-time full of crowds, and all government and scholarships are given to eligible students.

Best and the college with most exposure to events.
Placements: All students were placed in my electrical engineering course. Top recruiting companies include google, amazon, cesc, pwc, texas instruments and many more. Top roles offered in the course include core, electronic and computer Science job roles and all students are placed.
Infrastructure: Whole campus is covered with Wi-fi and the there is provision of access of departmental library as well as college library. The hostel is also very good while the fees charged is Rs. 25 per month. Food quality also is very good and suppose you are having a problem then you can have food outside as you are in the middle of the city.
Faculty: The teachers or professors are very qualified and are very helpful. They have specialisation in their respective subjects like illumination, control, machine, drives, high voltage. The course is curriculum relevant and also makes the student industry ready.
Other: I chose this course as this course covers all aspects of engineering like electrical, core, electronics, computer applications. In first year subjects of mechanical engineering are also taught. Every week or so there are events happening in the campus and the campus life is what you will be missing badly after 4 years. Campus is totally covered with Wi-Fi connectivity and there is scope of playing any sport that you want.
