Awesome placements, top-notch faculty, and the college with the highest ROI.
Placements: 95-97% of students were placed this year. Top private construction and manufacturing companies like L&T, TCE, Reliance, Godrej, ExxonMobil, Airbus, AFCONS, etc., recruit from our department. PSUs like BPCL, IRCON, Bridge & Roof Co., and EIL recruit on campus directly. Coming to non-core, IT companies are very few that recruit from the civil department (like TCS). In fintech and consultancy roles, ICICI Bank, PwC, ZS, and Polestar recruit every year. The average salary is around 8 LPA, and the median is 7.5-8 LPA. This year (24-25), the highest package given by BPCL (PSU) is around 21 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are non-AC, and college infrastructure is decent. Labs are also decent; only the computer lab has AC. Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole campus. A large central library and a departmental library are available. Hostel is so-so, also about mess food. I live outside campus in a PG. I would say the hostel should not be preferred. There is a large playground on the campus, and also an ATMA SBI bank.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified, having Masters and Ph.D. degrees from IITs, IISc, and foreign universities. The curriculum is well designed, equivalent to the GATE and UPSC ESE syllabus. Exams are very difficult to score; even the student with the highest CTC in placement also gets supplementary.
Other: Campus life I have experienced here is the best. There are organized fests like Sankranti (cultural) and Srijan (techno-management). I chose this college for its low fees and high ROI.

Ju is a great college in Bengal. We are ready to help the helpless.
Placements: Above 80% of students are placed, with the highest package being 12 LPA and the lowest package being 3.6 LPA. The average is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include L&T, DCPL, TATA, SAPUIJI, PWC, MAGEMA, etc. As the session has not ended yet, many more companies are expected to come. 45% of students got internships from my college in companies such as L&T, PWD, Irrigation (Government of West Bengal), Railway Department of India (Kharagpur Zone), as well as private and online internships.
Infrastructure: JU is an old college, starting its journey in 1906. Due to delays in aid from both the central and state governments, the overall infrastructure has suffered. Mainly, the hostel infrastructure is poor. The labs and classrooms are moderate, with free Wi-Fi available. There are six canteens on campus, and medical facilities are also available. The sports facilities are excellent due to the presence of a large playground.
Faculty: Teachers have good knowledge and prestigious degrees (from IIT, abroad), but they are not well-trained in teaching. This issue is present among a significant number of teachers. The course is valuable because of the increasing population and the need for infrastructure. Some semester papers are challenging to clear, but many others are easy or moderate.
Other: I chose this course for both government and private job opportunities. It provides chances in both sectors. The best aspect of this course is that it equips us with the basic components needed in our society, such as roads, bridges, and apartments. Festivals at JU include Srijan, Sanskriti (with the presence of FETSU, SFSU, AFSU), and Freshers' Book Fair. Campus life can be enjoyable. Connectivity is excellent due to the nearby rail station (within 100 m), 8B bus stand, and Netaji Subhash Airport (within 25 km). Scholarships available for students include FREESHIP (50% reduction in fees), SVMCM, AIKASHREE, and OASIS.

Great college for engineering .
Placements: Most courses had more than a 90 percent placement record.
The highest package this year was 84 LPA.
The minimum was 5 LPA.
The average was 10 LPA.
Different companies, like IBM, Amazon and Google, have offered jobs to the students.
L&T was also giving offers.
Internships depend on students choices; many students only decide which companies will be hiring.
Infrastructure: As it is an old college, the infrastructure is a bit old, but the equipment here is world-class and very effective for experience.
Faculty do their best to provide students with the latest facilities.
Hostel is less compared to the number of students and thus to selective students based on their family income and distance from home.
Hostel fees are very low.
All basic amenities are served at the hostel, which has a student-friendly environment.
Faculty: The teachers are world-class.
Most of them are alumni of this university only and have returned after serving themselves outside as well as in many big companies.
They provide their life experiences as examples to the students who would be going into that sector.
The curriculum is fully made by the faculty and is based on students requirements.
Exams are held regularly and semester exam datesheets are made with students operations and their availability.
Other: Civil engineering in Jadavpur has a good placement record and has a good faculty too.
Many passouts are placed in good positions in the sector and regularly visit the campus for interaction with students.
The best part is the ROI of this university.
Fees are 10k for 4 years and the average package is around 5-8 LPA .

Best university for career and guidance.
Placements: The best college for engineering and other courses. They give the best guidance towards our study at a very low cost. Approximately 80%–90% of students got jobs in my branch; approximately 60–80% get jobs; sometimes it is nearly 90%–97% based on placement offers, e.g., IT, Core, Consultancy, etc.
Infrastructure: All faculty members are also very good at their jobs; they have the best knowledge for our curriculum and they are very friendly and helpful. There are many faculty members at this university. In my branch, there are approximately 22–23 faculty members present.
Faculty: Our professors are very helpful; they provide very good resources for our study and they are well qualified. Many of our professors are Ph.D. holders and gold medalists from different universities and they are very friendly to us, so we can approach them if we want.
Other: My dream is to become a civil engineer and I want to do so at this university.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: In the previous year, almost 97% of students got placed on campus. Around 8% of students went for higher studies. The highest salary package offered by a coding company is 23.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5.6. The lowest salary package offered is 4.3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Tata Steel, L&T, Worley, EXL, Polestar, Protiviti, Accenture, Exxon Mobil, Cognizant, Gupshup, M.N. Dastur, PWC, Airbus, ICICI Bank, CTC, etc. Almost 90% of students got internships in companies like GDCL, Exxon Mobil, KMC, KMDA, CPWD, PWC, etc. Top roles offered are graduate trainee engineer, consultancy engineer, associate construction support engineer, analyst, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. Labs, libraries, and classrooms are good. There are no air conditioners in classrooms. We have a canteen. It provides food at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are good. The campus has ambulances. Sports facilities are available in our college. Our college has a gym with a professional trainer.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They have published many research papers. More than 150 professors are scientists. They are from Standford University. The curriculum is relevant but needs to be changed. It should introduce the software. The semester exams are average. We have to score 40 marks in each subject. The overall pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I got a low rank. Our course provides a lot of research opportunities. It provides government jobs. The connectivity is very good and strong. Our college conducts a fest named Sanskriti every year. The campus has many clubs for extracurricular activities like a mountaineering club, photographic club, motorsports club, etc.
