Good university, with qualified and supportive staff.
Placements: In M.A. History, you couldn't get a job immediately after completing the course because it is not a vocational course. But definitely, it gives you other opportunities like higher studies, research about the past. If you are really interested in history, then definitely one should go for it.
Infrastructure: As this is a central government college, so as expected, the infrastructure is not too much attractive. But there is a good and huge library with Wi-Fi and lots of book collections. Separate computer lab and reading hall other than the library. In university hostels, seats are very less, so an average of 20 to 30% students only get the hostels.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. Teaching techniques are also very good, creating a friendly environment. But not always the case; some teachers do not teach as expected. It does not mean that they are not qualified enough, but the fact is that their technique is not as expected. Exams are moderate, not much difficult; one can easily pass if they attend the classes regularly.

One of the best universities.
Placements: Placement depends on the courses. The history students have 30% chances of placement opportunities. 4-5 Ph.D. and M.Phil students practising as a assistant professor in other universities and rest off join academy for the preparation of IAS IPS, CDS and other civil exams. While on the hand the six M.Tech students have bagged job in exchanger company with the annual salary of 8.31 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Overall the infrastructure of university is so good. They provide Wi-Fi facility a cross Jamia. The department has its own Library also it is air conditioned, and there is 3 reading hall and one central library. Also they provide free medical facilities. There are around 15 canteens and they provide good food in reasonable price. Also there is M. F. Hussain art gallery and most popular sport complex ( Nawab Pataudi). .
Faculty: The some of the best faculty's member in the university were praised and awarded by the government. The curriculum activity was divided in semester, there are 6 semesters and 5 subjects were mandatory. The professors were so helpful and they try to explain in the every way as much as possible. There are around 400 students in history and culture.
Other: The Jamia has too many fest and events in a year. The fest start in the winters and so many universities and other dancing communities and other take part in it. Also cultural fest was also happened Like Kerala fest, and Kashmir fest etc. And yes scholarship also distributed among the students around 8000 per students (it's not fixed).

Jamia Millia Islamia - A very good place for doing your master's from.
Placements: As this is an arts course, placement does not happen for this course. In fact, placement from any college for these courses does not happen. Although the scope of appearing for NET exam conducted by UGC is there, which is for lecturership and research avenues.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is phenomenal. The campus is humongous. It is spread over quite a large area. The buildings are well equipped. But in some buildings, the desks are a little old. The building for the journalism course is the best of all, it sports a massive 104-inch TV to cater the need of BJMC students.
Faculty: The faculty is on of the best in Delhi. A lot of experienced professors that have experience in teaching with reputed universities like DU and JNU are teaching here. They are very helpful. The curriculum is to the point and very helpful for future endeavours and competitive exams.

Hi,
For the pattern of your courses, you will be given 105 min to complete your exam. The exam will be in two parts A and B. A part will be multiple choice and B part will be descriptive or subjective type. In this, you will have to answer the question based on your subject such as cold war, Harrpan
