Jamia Millia Islamia offers a two-year MA programme to the stduents across more than 30 specialisations. The university released its prospectus for admissions in March with the schedule for admission to courses accepting national-level and university-level entrance exams. JMI, New Delhi offers over 220 courses in both regular and self-financed modes. The university also provides distance learning courses at undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Diploma levels.

Jamia Millia Islamia offers seat reservations in almost all the courses based on the category of the students. Candidates seeking JMI admission under the reserved category can apply for reservation under one category only and are required to fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions of the course. • 30% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for Muslim applicants. 10% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for women applicants
  who are Muslims and 10% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for (OBCs) and ST students who are Muslims.
• 5% of seats in all the courses are reserved for physically challenged students.
• 5% of seats in all courses must be filled by internal students of Jamia who have passed their qualifying exam from Jamia schools as regular students.
