Average placement but Helpful faculty and good environment.
Placements: In Jamia Millia Islamia, Political Science department contains three courses: Political Science, Public Administration, and Human Rights and Duties Education. According to my academic year experience, there is no placement held in the last 2 years. Internships are provided as well.
Infrastructure: Yes, there's a departmental library provided to our department. Classes go on regularly scheduled, and as of now, there is no Wi-Fi system in our department. About hostels, the boys' hostel is much better than the girls'. There is a need for improvement in food and should add certain medical facilities in hostel, especially.
Faculty: The faculty of our department is so helpful, qualified, and well-trained. Professors give attention to every student and their concerns as well as give the best study material, which helps in examination. Also, they conduct sessions and seminars related to different topics. Semester exams are not that much difficult; it depends on students' regularity and concentration.
Other: This course is mostly based on individual rights, so I like about this course that it focuses on the rights of people like women, children, migrants, disabled people, and every human. Also, in this course, internships are provided related to different ministries.

Overall, good eight years in Jamia.
Placements: Though there's a placement cell in Jamia but there are very few courses in Jamia which provide college placements and in my course there was no placement. Infact there was no internship as well. There should have been atleast a month long field work but that too was conducted for just two days. I had applied for internship on my own.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is there and the internet speed is good. Classrooms are non-AC, but the libraries are fully air-conditioned. There's a sport complex where there are cricket and football grounds, basketball court. There's gym facility as well. There's Ansari Health Centre and Faculty of Dentistry which is free of cost for the students of Jamia. There are alot of canteens and the food is good and affordable. Hostel rooms are fine but three girls is a single room seemed a bit crowded to me. Since everyone has different class timings, so it used to be disturbing at times.
Faculty: I've done my graduation, Masters and M.Phil from Jamia and also a Diploma. There are very few teachers in Jamia whom I found Knowledgeable, efficient and student friendly, who knew how to teach. Rest of them were bad, their classes just not worth attending. Although Jamia offers a wide range of courses, it needs to provide internships and placements, otherwise how will the students get exposure and experience.
Other: Now the university is well connected by magenta line metro. The campus is beautiful and clean, there's greenery. There are music clubs, literary and drama societies. For civil service aspirants, free coaching is provided to the deserving candidates who clear the entrance and they're provided free accommodation as well. Coaching is also given for NET and SSC.
