Jamia Millia Islamia BSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025
JMI BSc and BSc (H) courses are available in different specialisations. The duration of these courses is three years. Jamia Milia Islamia BSc admission is done based on scores in the JMI entrance exam. For BSc in Biotechnology and a BSc (Hons) in Physics, admission is done based on a valid score in the CUET exam. The final selection depends upon the performance in the previous qualifying degree exams, entrance test and seat availability.
Till 2021, admission was subject to the JMI entrance exam across all specialisations. However, starting from 2022, admission to BSc in Biotechnology and BSc (Hons) in Physics was CUET-based.

Jamia Milia Islamia released its online prospectus on Feb 20. As per its prospectus, the application deadline was Mar 30 for the application form of the test conducted by the university. Moreover, the application form window for editing was opened from Apr 4 to Apr 10.
The JMI application form admission through other exams (JEE/NATA/CUET) was released on Feb 20. The admission process for BSc or BSc(Hons) course is conducted through the Jamia Millia Islamia entrance test, conducted by the college itself.Till 2021, admission was subject to the JMI entrance exam across all specialisations. However, starting from 2022, admission to BSc in Biotechnology and BSc (Hons) in Physics will be CUET-based.
National Testing Agency (NTA) does not release the CUET UG cutoff. Once the CUET results are declared, the socres are shared with the participating universities and role of NTA ends with the declaration of results. CUET UG 2025 cutoff has been released by the CUET participtaing universities seperatley. Candidates will be able to check the course wise and category wise cutoff. CUET UG cutoff 2026 has been released by accepting universities after declaration of CUET UG results.
Selected candidates are advised to complete their admission formalities when the schedule is released. Students are required to bring their Admit Card issued for the Entrance Test and attested copies of the following documents, along with the originals, at the time of admission.
