The Kerala University has recorded a 46% placement rate for the 2023 passing out PG (2-year) batch. From 2021 to 2023, a fluctuating trend was observed in the placement rate. The same is presented below:

The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. University of Kerala conducts an entrance exam for PG courses. For most of the UG programmes, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For MBA, the university accepts national or state-level entrance exams such as CAT,  CMAT and KMAT. Kerala University furthers calls the shortlisted candidates for group discussion and personal interview rounds for some of the courses such as MBA, MSW, etc.

Yes, the aspirants of PG Diploma courses are required to take the PG Entrance Exam conducted by the office of CSSAC, University of Kerala. There is no provision for re-examination under any circumstances. The questions asked in the test are Multiple Choice Questions. In addition, negative marking is applicable and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong response. The response sheets are further either digitally checked or by an examiner's panel, which is approved by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor. Candidates can take the test by completing the application process by visiting the university website.

As per the latest placement information, 46% of the PG (2-year) batch were placed during the 2023 placements. Moreover, looking at the past three years' data (2021 to 2023), a fluctuating trend was recorded in the placement rate of PG (2-year) courses. The following table depicts the exact numbers:

As per the latest placement information,  881 PG (2-year) students were placed out of the 1,376 students enrolled in the programme. Moreover,  the median package offered to PG (2-year) during the 2023 placements stood at INR 3.15 LPA. The median package for the same course stood at INR 3.12 LPA during the placement drive held in 2022.
