KGMU grants admission to various UG and PG courses on the basis of various exams. For MD and MS specialisations, the cutoff is released on the basis of NEET PG. For MBBS and BDS admission, the cutoff is released on the basis of performance in the NEET and UP NEET exams. For MDS, NEET MDS is accepted and for MD/MDS, UP NEET PG is accepted. In order to get admission to DM at KGMU, the minimum eligibility criteria is to get a PG degree of MD/ MS or any equivalent. DM is a super specialisaed course, admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. For admission to this course, candidates have to check the eligibility in the first place and appear for NEET SS entrance exam. This entrance exam is conducted by NBE every year.
