LPU BSc and BSc (H) courses are available in different specialisatons. Candidates must be Class 12 or equivalent pass with minimum aggregate for selection. LPU BSc admission is entrance based for some of the specialisations. The university conducts LPU NEST for admission to its courses. Students can also take lateral entry to BSc courses. For admission in BSc Health and Physical Education, students should have a valid score in the LPU PET exam conducted by the University.

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

1: Signup
Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile number, state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registration. Login to the LPUADMIT with an already created username/ password
2: Application for admission
Candidates can continue to take admission and then apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes):
2.1 - Fill in the application form
2.2 - Select the programme from the available course list
2.3 - Make an initial payment of INR 10,000 (which consists of an application fee of INR 500, the rest is part of the programme fee for the first semester). After making the payment, the University will dispatch the prospectus at the correspondence address (entered in the application form) and a unique provisional registration no. will be generated and sent to the registered email-id.
2.4 - Upload the required documents. All the submitted documents are verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines during admission.
2.5 - Deposit the balance fee within the timelines as prescribed by LPU
3: Apply for LPUNEST
Lovely Professional University conducts an online eligibility/scholarship test, LPU NEST basis which students can avail a number of scholarships. The cost for the application form and soft copy of the LPU NEST Kit is INR 1,000 (for boys) and Rs 500 (for girls) and fill the application form of LPUNEST.

Placements: The percentage of students who opted for this course was 30%. The students of this course received the highest package of 15 LPA and the lowest package of 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Agri-Associate, Kincannon & Reed, AG HeadHunters, and Keller Executive Search. Around 70% of students received internships in these companies. The top roles offered ranged from research and development to practical farm management and even business-oriented positions.
Infrastructure: The college had number one facilities and beautiful infrastructure. The classrooms for my course were hygienic and clean. Every block contained a library, and free Wi-Fi was available 24/7. The quality of food was not ideal for South Indian students. But overall, it was very good.
Faculty: Teachers were highly helpful. Every student had a personal mentor. They prepared us with hands-on experience for every aspect of the course related to the industry. The pass percentage was 99%. The semester exams were above average. I liked it very much.

Really good infrastructure, facilities, etc.
Placements: The students placed in this course was about 35%. The students of this course got the highest package of 15 LPA, and the lowest package of 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Cargill, Syngenta, and UPL, as well as Indian companies such as Godrej Agrovet. 70% of students got internships in these companies. Top roles were offered in research, education, agribusiness, various government, and private sector jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college was structured well. The whole campus was covered with Wi-Fi, and the classrooms had smart boards. The labs were updated with the latest technology computers. We had an apple lab. The food available in mess and canteen was freshly prepared, and delivered in well-packed containers. The campus also had medical facilities. It also organised annual sports meet.
Faculty: Teachers were disciplined because they were regular in lectures and always taught with sincerity. The teaching quality was excellent. The curriculum was relevant, and made the students ready for industrial work. The semester exams were average, and the passing criteria was to score 40% marks in each subject.
Other: I joined this course because of my great interest in different kinds of plants and animals. The campus organised events such as carbuncle, maestros, and other cultural events. The students were also sponsored with a scholarship according to their marks in 12th standard.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: Around 60–70% of students were placed in our course. The quality of placements in our course was not good. The highest package offered was 18 LPA. The average package was around 6–7 LPA. The top recruiting companies were NCML, Syngenta, Mahindra Agri Business, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were excellent. Wi-Fi facility was available on the college campus as well as in the hostel. Classrooms were fully digital. A library was available in the college. The quality of the hostel was very good. Limited sports facilities were available.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our college faculty members were good. The course curriculum was relevant and was awarded ICAR accreditation by NAEB. The semester examinations at our college were of a moderate level.

Infrastructure is good but not the placement services.
Placements: For my course or other Bachelor’s degrees, there are not much options for placements. There are only sales jobs and not good packages also. 3-4 LPA is the average placement package for Bachelor’s students than what’s the point of spending that much money on our degree.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and very spacious, but there are so many reasonable restrictions inside the campus, such as we can’t choose any Bollywood song for performing dance, and girls have to be inside the hostels before 8 PM in winters and before 7 PM, I think. Boys can roam around till late. And the most disturbing part is there’s no approval for medical leaves. Even if any student is suffering from a critical medical situation, he/she has to repeat the semester or the course. Also, charges in food courts are increasing every year.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but they don’t know how to treat students in this generation. They all just put so much pressure on students, some even attempt suicide, and we literally have so much on our late. Like in just 4 months, we have to complete our syllabus, and then there’s 3 CA (continuous assessment), 2 WTP (written test practical), mid-term examination, end-term examination, ETP (end-term practical), presentations, assignments, other activities.
Other: Placements services should be free as we are already paying a good amount of money according to our courses placements. There should be more options of companies for placements other than sales with good packages. Medical leaves approval should be there in case of critical condition. By restriction Bollywood song and dance steps, the management itself putting labels on the art of students and demotivating them, which is not right, it should be topped.

Placements: This college organizes placement opportunities for every student every year, but students need above 50% to participate. One or two companies provide internships and placements every year. The placement package is 2 to 5 lacs.
Infrastructure: This college has multiple facilities, but hostel facilities are not available for everyone because they require extra charges in addition to the fees. The hostel and college canteen provide the same food, which is very tasty. The college committee organizes events and tournaments every year, such as cricket matches, cultural events, sports competitions, and carrom tournaments.
Faculty: The teachers and professors in this college are very good and well-educated. There are Ph.D. and graduate teachers available. The course curriculum is relevant and very good. This course is a bachelor's degree with a duration of 3 years and 6 semesters. Exams are conducted by the college.

Placements: Many companies come here to hire students and provide very good packages. The company provides a salary of 4 Lacs to 6 Lacs. If you want to take admission in this course, you should get more than 50% marks in 12th. Many companies come here, like TCS, TNS, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: Many amenities are available here, and the infrastructure quality here is also very good. Facilities are provided here, such as fast Wi-Fi, neat and clean classrooms, labs, library, hostel, etc. There are canteen facilities available in this college, and the food here is also very good.
Faculty: In this college, the faculty is very good, and the teachers are qualified. In Andhra University, our teachers are very intelligent and helpful to the students and solve any queries of the students. This course is a total of 3 years' duration and 6 semester exams.
