UGPET Pattern 2026: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

Some of the topics included in numerical ability are Number System, Simplification, Percentage, P&L, Ratio, Proportion, Time and Work, Interest, Geometry, Clocks and Calendars, Combination, etc.

Questions from English language section of UGPET will be based on topics including Rearrangement, Sentence Completion, Sentence Improvement, Synonyms and Antonyms, One Word Substitution, etc.

UGPET exam for BBA admission will have questions from four sections, namely, General Knowledge, General English, Numerical Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.

Yes, for Lucknow University admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, entrance test called, the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) is conducted by the university for UG and PG admission. Lucknow University also conducts the Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test (UGPET) for admission to the BBA and BCA courses. For UG and PG courses, the university also accept CUET-UG and CUET-PG exam scores.

Topics in the logical reasoning section of UGPET shall include Word Formation, Coding-Decoding, Analogy Test, questions on Series, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relations, Analytical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, etc.

Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test will have a syllabus spread across four different sections for BBA admission. UGPET for BCA admission will have one additional section.

As per the UGPET exam pattern, the Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test will have objective type questions. Candidates will have to choose one correct response out of four responses.

No, the UGPET score is mandatory to get admission to a DPharm course at Lucknow University. The UGPET entrance examination for the DPharm course is ussually held in the mid of July every year. UGPET is conducted in an offline mode. Candidates can take the exam at the designated test centres as notified by Lucknow University. Hence, candidates are not allowed to get admission through management quota for the DPharm course. 

There are 100 questions based on the following areas: 1. General knowledge (25 marks) 2. Logical reasoning & aptitude (25 marks) 3. Basic mathematics (25 marks) 4. English (25 marks). Followed by personal interview & academic credentials Personal interview (50 marks) your knowledge, communication, attitude, extra-curricular activities & personality will be the major areas for the interviewer. Academic credentials will majorly be based on 10th & 12th marks.
