MNNIT is a great Institute, by a MNNITian.

Placements: I am from the CSE branch, and a lot of my friends are placed this year. Although I got a great internship opportunity, in my batch, there are 400 students, and most of them got an internship offer. The overall placements of the college are good. Placement stats of my CSE branch are very good. Around 87.44% of students from the last batch got placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. We have good drinking water, clean and sanitized washrooms, and well-maintained single rooms. I will say the infrastructure is great. Although the classes also have centralized ACs installed this year, the Wi-Fi connection is also good. We are provided with routers as well as a LAN. The library is also good, has a lot of books, and provides an e-book facility as well.

Faculty: Faculty members here are polite, intelligent, and well-experienced. Apart from studies, they also help us carry out our other problems, whether they are related to relationships, stress, or they help us like friends. They teach us concepts in detail, and we also respect them. The curriculum is also well designed, and exams are good and help me a lot to learn more about computer science.

Other: Many pieces of information I have already provided about my batch; the college has 2 great fests: Culrav and Abhishkar. Culrav is a cultural fest, and Abhishkar is a technical fest. Culrav is excellent; most of the celebrities come here, and many singers and dancers as well. Abhishkar has many events, hackathons, and some other events like robotics events.

Placements are good, but the hostels need improvement. College life and the fest are good.

Placements: In the 2024 placement season, 87% of CSE students were placed. The highest package is 1 crore. The average package is 27 LPA, and the median is 17 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Deshaw, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Airtel, Oracle, and JP Morgan. Overall, I would recommend this college to people mainly because of the placements.

Infrastructure: The hostel for first-year girls is very nice, with lifts, a good mess, and 3-seater rooms with a study room. The hostel for other years is not very nice, with small rooms, no lift, and 2-seater. The mess is okay. The infrastructure of the college is fine, but most of the classes are old and do not have ACs.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. CSE professors teach nicely. The course and curriculum are relevant, except for some subjects that come under NEP. The semester exams are not extremely hard but are okay. Overall, the teaching quality is fine, the coding culture is very nice, and the seniors are extremely helpful.

A Virtual Tour to MNNIT College with good placements but not that good infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately 87.44% of the students get placed in my course. The highest CTC was 71.14 LPA and the average CTC was 28.38 LPA. The total number of companies visited was 432. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Adobe, Google, Flipkart, Morgan Stanley, and Microsoft.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our course are moderate in terms of Wi-Fi, desktops, and air conditioning. Our hostel is good in terms of infrastructure, but the quality of mess food is not good according to the feels of hostel rented accommodation and food provided.

Faculty: Some of our faculty members are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good, but some of them teach only for the sake of syllabus completion. The course curriculum is relevant for me. The semester exams for some of the courses are difficult, but some of them were easy and only a few students fail.

Other: I have chosen this course because it marks the highest placement percentage and package compared to other courses. The things I would like to improve for my course are practical study, which is required a lot, like real-world coding and interactions.

A comprehensive review of MNNIT Allahabad - academics and campus life.

Placements: Placements are very good. It was one of the reasons I came here to this college. Recently our senior batch passed this year and they got some good packages, with most of them with 30 LPA average salary. The placement cell is handled by the TPO, the training and placement group of the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not top-notch as it was built in the late 90's and not yet renovated. For lectures, there is one main building; it is vast with so many galleries, which is divided into branches like a mech, CSE, civil, ECE, etc. There is one main purpose hall for seminars and functions.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. Our professors are very helpful. There are two exams in a semester: mid sem exam and end sem exam. The mid-semester is worth 25 marks, and the end-of-semester exam is worth 50 marks. The remaining 25 marks are for internal assessment, which is in the professor's hand.

A student's view on his college: MNNIT Allahabad.

Placements: MNNIT Allahabad is a college famous for its placements. It is ranked 1st among all the NITs based on the average salary of all the branches combined. Placement and internship opportunities are really good here. This year, about 80% of the students got placed in my course, CSE, with the placement session still ongoing. In my course, the highest package offered was 72 LPA, whereas the average and median packages were 25 LPA and 24 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies for my course included Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Goldman Sachs, etc. About 30% of the students in my course secured internships in the aforementioned companies. Many of these internships later converted into Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) for the students. Top roles offered in my course are SDE-1.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. Classrooms and hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi. The CSE department has a separate building where our lab classes are held. Classrooms and labs are well-equipped and air-conditioned. The central library is well-maintained; it contains thousands of books and is centrally air-conditioned. Regarding hostel facilities, in the first year, we get SVBH, which has 3/4 seating rooms. The rooms are spacious with attached study rooms, and three LAN ports are provided in each room for 24/7 fast internet connectivity. SVBH has several facilities like common rooms, an AC hall, a night canteen, a general store, a guest room, etc. The mess food quality is pretty good and is handled by the students of the hostel. In addition, we have several canteens and cafes inside the campus. For medical facilities, we have a dispensary on campus, and an ambulance is available 24/7 for emergency situations. Sports and games facilities are also good here; we have a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, badminton court, TT tables, an athletic ground, gymkhana ground, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members here are highly qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty members hold PhDs. The teaching quality of most of the teachers is good, except for some. The course curriculum is quite relevant and prepares the students for the industry. Semester exams here are difficult, with a passing percentage of about 80%. However, the seniors are very helpful and provide us with important resources required for the examinations.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study computers and coding. The best thing about my course is the placements. The infrastructure of classrooms needs renovation. Extracurricular activities, events, and fests are great here. The campus crowd is excellent and highly competitive, as they have all excelled in the JEE examination to get in here. Scholarships are available on an income basis through different sources. Connectivity is not an issue here.
