Panjab University Chandigarh admission process is based on the entrance examination and merit. Panjab University Chandigarh is currently open for admission. The University provides courses of BSc, BTech, BA, MA, MSc, MTech, and PhD programs including Business and Management Studies, Accounting and Commerce, Arts (Fine/ Visual/ Performing), Design, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences etc. The University has the courses which last between 20 days and 5 years. In addition, the fee structure of the Panjab University has such tuition fees that range between INR 160 to INR 17.6 Lakh. In conclusion, the University provides classes in a very low cost.

Panjab University offers financial assistance or concessions to it through offering scholarships under need or merit basis. The University also provides scholarships on the basis of some eligibility requirements. In which, applicants of reserved category are allowed to receive scholarship in the category of Merit-cum-means scholarship of SC/ ST. Such scholarships are awarded to deserving students and guarantee a minimum of 50% marks or similar in any past test. Under the 'Merit-cum-means scholarship for SC/ ST' scholarship, the members of family, with an annual income of INR 2.50 LPA, are eligible to get admission.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced
