Inter Soa College Review 2025.

Placements: Around 80-90% of students get placed in this college. The average package is around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Dell, and PwC. Around 60-70% of students get internships through the college.

Infrastructure: The college has air-conditioned classrooms with comfortable seats. It has a very good library with almost every book. I don’t live in the hostel, so I don’t know much about it. However, my friends tell me that the hostel food in the mess is average, while the college cafeteria has good food.

Faculty: Facilities in the college are very good. The staff are helpful and well-behaved. All teachers are highly qualified. Teachers, clear your doubts in the classroom or personally in your cabins if you are shy to ask in class. The college makes you industry-ready.

Good college as compared to all private institutes in Odisha. 80% average placement.

Placements: 80% of students are placed. The highest package Is 45 LPA, and the minimum is 3 LPA. This is good compared to all colleges in Odisha and good private college in Odisha among all private colleges, and it has a good environment..

Infrastructure: Good in hostel life, not like best, but it is okay. This is a very good college, and here 12 boys' hostels and 4 girls' hostels are available. All hostels are good, the food is good, and the environment is the best. It is the best college in Odisha compared to all private colleges.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. The curriculum is also good, and exams are very strict. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. It's not very difficult, it's easy. A normal student can achieve above 8 CGPA by reading studying two weeks before the exam.

Other: I thought this college was best for me as I cannot go outside of Odisha, and this is a very good college, as I had heard.

Placements: This year, nearly all students are placed. In our batch, there are too many students, so there is a chance that many will not be placed. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Tlc, etc. Top package was offered by Microsoft and Amazon, which is 45 LPA. The average package is 12 to 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, not that good, with regular problems in machines such as lifts, which are dangerous. Even PC and all have many cases where they don't work. Even the campus is too small with very little space for any activity. The hostel has pretty good facilities with all the amenities and good food. It is not the same in most boys hostels.

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. They help their subjects as well as outside of campus to get jobs or gain experience. Some teachers don't even care at all. It depends on luck whether the teacher is helpful or not. Semester exams were good before, but now the new pattern is too partial for core students.

Great infrastructure, supportive faculty, and good placement opportunities.

Placements: In my batch (B.Tech CSE 2021-2025), around 85-90% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 25 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package stood around 6.5-7 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Amazon, and Accenture. About 70% of students got internships, mainly in companies like Wipro, TCS, and startups. The top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, system engineer, and business analyst.

Infrastructure: Our department has excellent infrastructure with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a rich library with updated resources. The hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, 24/7 water and electricity supply, and good security. The mess serves hygienic food with multiple options, and the canteen offers tasty snacks. There are medical facilities on campus with a health center and ambulance service. Sports facilities like playgrounds, indoor games, and a gym are also well-maintained.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and have good knowledge of their subjects. The teaching quality is decent, with a mix of theoretical and practical approaches. The curriculum is updated and relevant to industry needs, helping students become job-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing on both understanding and application. The pass percentage is quite high, around 80-90%, as most students clear the exams with regular study and and guidance from faculty.

Other: Campus life is vibrant, with students from diverse backgrounds creating a healthy and friendly atmosphere. Events and fests like [Name of popular fests] add great energy. Extracurricular activities and clubs provide ample opportunities to explore interests beyond academics. The connectivity to the campus is good, and the surroundings are calm and safe. Scholarships and support for cultural or technical participation are also commendable.

Impressive job placements and infrastructure, but no sports events, fests, and farewells.

Placements: In 2021, the CSE course has a total of 2,000 students. College can place only 2,000 out of 1,000 students. Apart from TCS and Wipro, no other mass hiring companies visited at least in my batch. Average companies offer a package of 4.5 LPA. 2 students got placed with a package of 27 LPA.

Infrastructure: College provides less Wi-Fi. It is 35 MB per person/day. Labs and classrooms are a combination of old, outdated, smart, and latest systems. The infrastructure of the library is much better. 5 floors have AC facilities. Hostel facilities are so pathetic. Apart from rooms, all other facilities like the mess provide average-quality food. There is no first aid. Games equipment is not there. The warden is like a so-called goon and illiterate.

Faculty: Semester exams in the college are quite easy but some of the subjects get difficult questions and exam patterns. Each semester has five to six subjects. It includes a couple of core subjects. But especially in the third year, the college internationally introduced an absolute marking scheme in some subjects which ended up with a pass percentage of up to 60%.

Other: I chose CSE as it's the most demanding and skilled job in the market currently. The college should update the subjects as per the latest technologies and the courses. At least, a yearly fest should be organised by the college for students.
