The basic eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Psychology (Hons) at SRM University is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with English Physics Chemistry Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology Percentage and scored a minimum mentioned aggregate of marks in PCB are eligible. Over the past few years, the SRM Institute of Science and Technology has been ranked under multiple streams namely Management, Engineering, Computer Application, pharmacy, and others. Yes, SRM University offers B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons). To apply for this course, candidates need to clear the basic eligibility criteria, which is, a candidate should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board/university, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one among Biology & Mathematics, Biology Mathematics, Botany & Zoology Forestry, Biology & Agriculture, Agriculture or have Biology and Agricultural Practices in a vocational stream with at least 50% overall aggregate. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 8 Lacs and about 240 seats are available.

Both the colleges are equally good, but I will vote for Thapar University, Patiala because of the standard which the University has maintained since its establishment. I will try to distinguish between both colleges with the help of certain parameters:

• ADMISSION PROCESS: Thapar University admits its students on the basis of JEE main marks. Usually cutoff goes higher for Computer engineering (around 180). While SRM University conducts its own examination called SRMJEE.
• CAMPUS: SRM University has a very good and beautiful campus. Student intake is higher at SRM University. 
• Thaper don't have any management quota seat whereas SRM had few seats reserved for the management quota. The fee is almost similar in both colleges. And location-wise Chennai has the upper hand over Patiala.

For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) was 983763 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital University Main Campus.

As per the eligibility criteria, aspirants must pass bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for the M.Tech course. The university considers the eligibility and GATE score for providing admission.

Aspirants who have not qualified GATE can appear for SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the university. Eligibility of candidates are evaluate during document verification. In case an aspirant is unable to fulfill the requirements, his or her admission stands cancelled.
