The basic eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Psychology (Hons) at SRM University is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with English Physics Chemistry Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology Percentage and scored a minimum mentioned aggregate of marks in PCB are eligible. Candidates who studied abroad should possess equivalent qualifications as determined by the Association of Indian Universities. The other eligibility is that the candidate should have completed the age of mentioned years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course. SRM IST offers a two-year MBA Online course divided into four semesters. Admission to MBA Online course is based on CAT/MAT/GMAT/GRE score. Shortlisted aspirants need to pass PI round conducted by the university. A pass in bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate is required to apply for the Online MBA course. Candidates without work experience and having qualified in CAT/MAT/GMAT/GRE are exempted from entrance test to be conducted by SRMIST.

Yes, SRM University offers B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons). To apply for this course, candidates need to clear the basic eligibility criteria, which is, a candidate should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board/university, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one among Biology & Mathematics, Biology Mathematics, Botany & Zoology Forestry, Biology & Agriculture, Agriculture or have Biology and Agricultural Practices in a vocational stream with at least 50% overall aggregate. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 8 Lacs and about 240 seats are available.

• College Infrastructure: SRM has a well-defined layout in terms of infrastructure. The campus is spread over a large area, with all the basic facilities provided. There are huge grounds and indoor courts for sports; the gymnasium is made for the students of the college. The library is technically advanced and has a good collection of books. The classrooms are well maintained with smart boards installed, and the washrooms are clean. The canteen has diverse varieties of food that are hygienic and affordable.
• Academics: CSE has proven to be a good course for me as it aligns with my interests and liking for computers and programming. The course is well updated, and even the curricula followed in college fall in line with the skills required in the job sector. The course has a lot of research and practicality, which definitely makes one job-ready. The teachers are cooperative and experienced, and they mentor each student at every point.
• Placements: Approximately 70% of the students get hired in the recruitment drive held by the college. The placement drive is held in the most efficient manner. The average package is around 5 LPA, which is a good kickstart for any student in their respective fields. The college has a placement cell that is responsible for inviting firms to the college and guiding fellow students in getting placed, hence making the college supportive. The placements must be inclusive of all the courses, which is a demerit.
• Value-for-money: The annual tuition fee structure was a bit on the expensive side, as my yearly fee was around 3 lacs p/a, which might not be affordable for many students. But the quality of services and education, with all the basic amenities, make SRM worth the investment. Personally, SRM is making each penny count.
• Campus Life: Though the college is isolated from the main part of the city, it is glorious from the inside. There are sports activities in the college and many cultural societies, like dance and music societies. Moreover, there are various clubs that keep on participating in educational competitions. Various seminars are held and several festivals are conducted throughout the year, making college life happen. There's a medical room to handle any emergency as and when it arises!

NEET MDS Last Round cutoff for admission to the MDS courses has been released. As per the SRM University MDS cutoff 2025, the NEET MDS closing ranks varied between 4511 and 10404 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. So, yes, a student with a NEET MDS rank of 5000 can get admission to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. However, the students have to wait until the last round, as the cutoff ranks might be more competitive in the initial rounds. Last date to apply for SRM IST Kattankulathur BTech admissions has been scheduled on 30th June for academic year 2026. Currently, Phase 2 admissions are ongoing whose registrations are scheduled to close on Junr 4th.

The deemed-to-be university accepts GATE score for M.Tech admission. However, aspirants who have not qualified GATE can also get admission to M.Tech course by qualifying SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the university. SRM will conduct SRMJEEE in two phases. After the completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to attend the counselling and document verification round. Only after the payment of course fee, admission is confirmed in the university.

As per the eligibility criteria, aspirants must pass bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for the M.Tech course. The university considers the eligibility and GATE score for providing admission.

Aspirants who have not qualified GATE can appear for SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the university. Eligibility of candidates are evaluate during document verification. In case an aspirant is unable to fulfill the requirements, his or her admission stands cancelled.
