Placements: Around 80-90 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 70 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 5-8 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Infosys. Roles offered are software developer, system engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The CSE (AI) department at UEM (Kolkata) has good infrastructure with a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, modern computer labs, and a well-stocked library. Hostel facilities are decent with basic amenities and security. The mess and canteen food quality is good.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and qualified, though quality varies. The course curriculum is industry-relevant with coding and projects. Semester exams are moderately difficult and manageable with study. The pass percentage is 85-90 percent. Many students clear exams easily.
Other: I am from the B.Tech at UEM (Kolkata) course. I chose this course for coding and placements. The best parts are projects and skill development. The campus has good events and connectivity. Improvement is needed in practical exposure and less strict rules.

A short review of UEM Kolkata.
Placements: In 2025, 89 percent of students graduated from the final year batch. I'm pretty sure that my batch will also get placed in a good amount. The placement officer and the placement cell's faculty and staff help us in every possible way. They start grooming you from the very first day of college. I think the placement scenario is pretty good.
Infrastructure: I don't live in a college hostel. But my friends live in it, and they say it has a pretty good infrastructure. But there is a serious problem with Wi-Fi. Sometimes it's gone for a long time. But otherwise it's good for students. They provide healthy foods.
Faculty: The faculty is too good and well-experienced in their job. They help us in every possible way. They also teach us out of the syllabus for our future jobs. They also teach us for government job exams or entrance exams for higher degrees. In a semester, we have to attend 3 exams. There are mid-term 1, mid-term 2, and end-semester.
Other: I'm a student of CSE (AI) at UEM Kolkata, and it's a very well-known batch of my college. In my course, I can be a dream job holder like a code or something based on coding or programming. My college always helps me become very good at my passion. I think the campus can add a ground, but eventually, there are 2 basketball courts and a basement where indoor sports are played by the students. Our college organizes lots of events. Good bands, singers, and well-known celebrities also come to attend our fest. There are lots of events, tech fest, and cultural curriculum also. Students love to attend it. They organized a certificate for the events.

Good education with good jobs.
Placements: 50% of placements required in CSE course. The highest package is 72 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, PWC, and many more companies come for placements. Companies offer their placements maximum CSE courses. Placement required 75% in Madhyamik and HS, 7.5 CGPA, no backlog, no year lack, and no year gap.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, and library are good but Wi-Fi is not working properly many times. 100% attendance is required for lab classes. 75% attendance is also required for regular classes. Library facilities too good, 24X7 times available, free Wi-Fi, and available to issue books any time.
Faculty: Faculty members are too friendly, supportive, and helpful. Every 6 months of semester, we have to attend many exams like term -I (theory and practical), term-II (theory and practical), sessional paper exam, and semester practical. Semester question papers come from IIT.
Other: In our college, many more technical events, hackathons, and extracurricular activities are held by students and authorities.

I am fully satisfied with this college and the faculty members.
Placements: Near about 90 percent of students were placed in this course. The highest package of our college is 72 Lacs per annum and the average package is 7 Lacs per annum. Infosys Accenture Tata, Zomato and many other companies. 70 percent of students got internships from this course.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is generally considered good with well maintained classrooms a well-stocked library and modern labs providing a conducive learning environment. However some older buildings might show signs of wear and tear, and there could be room for improvement in specific areas like internet connectivity and accessibility features.
Faculty: Reviews about the college faculty generally raise their qualifications helpfulness and ability to explain concepts clearly with many noting that the curriculum is relevant to industry needs. Exams are considered moderate in difficulty requiring a good understanding of the material to pass successfully. However some students might find certain subjects or exam formats challenging depending on the course and individual learning style.

Absolutely good for a real growing career in B.Tech.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed from our university. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA, the average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, JP Morgan, IBM, and TCS. Above 60 companies visit our university. Our college offers internship opportunities, which are basically free.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on every floor. Labs are good and well-equipped. Library is great, with a vast collection of books. Library is equipped with Wi-Fi and air-conditioners. Hostel facilities are not bad. Canteen food is average. Medical facilities are available for UEM students on our campus. The sports and game facilities are good.
Faculty: Teaching faculty of our college is good. They teach better. Students are industry-ready by the end of 4th year. The semester exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage is around 100%.
Other: I chose this course because AI is a growing career. Our college campus area could be big so that students can freely move. There are many events held, such as tech events, normal fests, etc. The connectivity between our seniors and juniors is good. Scholarships are available.

Decent placements and infrastructure, but faculty and management need serious improvement.
Placements: I study here in the CSE AI department, and here the college environment is pretty good. The placement rate is 40%. I think this is not a problem of the college, the students are not sincere about their future. They are not coming in at the exact time, and many of them don't even know coding. The highest package offered is 72LPA, and the Average package is 5.5LPA (TCS).
Infrastructure: I am basically not a hostel student, I can tell about hostel as one of my friend stays there. The hostel is basically clean, but the food is not up to the mark. Library is present on the college campus, which is accessible only in after the college ends, i.e, 4:10 pm. No sports ground is present in the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are the worst part of my college, they just keep pressurizing the students and give assignments basically, every college gives assignments, but here the case is very different. If anyone miss the submission, they just need the students to call the guardians. Some of the teachers are good.
