Kerala University Admission Process and Dates 2025
Kerala University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. Admission to the BTech, BArch, BPA, BFA, and BPEd courses is done through entrance examinations such as KEAM and NATA followed by counselling. Kerala University PG admission is based on entrance examinations. The university accepts GATE, CMAT/ KMAT/ KU CAT, and KLEE for admission to courses such as MTech, MBA, and LLM.
For PhD, the admission is based on entrance score, followed by a PI process conducted by Kerala University. The University offers BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc and MBA courses via its School of Distance Education in a distance mode.

The Kerala University campus spreads across 359 acres of land. KU offers several facilities for its students. The facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, well-furnished rooms and spacious classrooms, and full-time internet connectivity. In addition to this, the institute also offers medical and sports facilities to the students. The other facilities provided to the students of the institute include:
- Library: The University of Kerala hosts a vast library at the Kariavattom campus, started in 1976 and acts as a reference library for research scholars. The library has over 7000 books and has a subscription to over 60 periodicals. It also offers internet, reprographics, UGC - Infonet, e-journal services and many more.
- Canteen: Kerala University canteen is one of the most happening places on the campus. It is known for its savoury food, but it is also the place where students make some of the best memories of their college life.

University of Kerala is convenient to reach. Students can arrive at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, and take a short drive of around 10-15 minutes to reach the campus.
