IDOL University Mumbai gives scholarships for UG/PG students who are greatly interested in doing or completing a BA degree. The University has established seat reservation policies as given by the Indian government & also gives scholarships for candidates in several reserved categories. The seat reservation policy is set basis the category of the students like General, OBC, SC/ST, PWD, etc., and the seat availability. Students from SC/ST categories can also apply for the RAJIV GANDHI NATIONAL FELLOWSHIP SCHEME (RGNFS) sponsored by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India.

The Mumbai University allocate scholarships to the students pursuing courses from the University. University of Mumbai course fee is the sum of various components, which are either one-time chargeable or have to be paid annually/semesterly. MU BA tuition fees range between INR 2,400 and INR 14.6 lakh. This fee range has the tuition fee for BA and integrated BA courses. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme at IDOL University has a duration of three years. The mode of education for this programme is distance/correspondence. Interested students can check the eligibility criteria for applying. The BA programme is divided into six semesters spread over three years. The University offers numerous specialisations for the BA course at the undergraduate level. The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter and includes practical learning and industry exposure.

The college witnessed the participation of top corporate giants like Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, ACTREC, Max Planck Society, Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (AEI), etc. 

University of Mumbai (MU) is one of the most pretigious universities in India, not to mention one of the oldest. The university is ranked. MU is ranked at the 664th spot by the QS World University Rankings 2026 and 245 by the QS Asia Rankings 2025. Furthermore, the university is ranked #61 in the 'University' category by the NIRF 2024.

Like any other Institution/University maintaining an attendance of 75% is mandatory for the students at Mumbai University. The University has its own Attendance Committee, for the smooth conduct of this ordinance in every Department. As per the Attendance Ordinance, candidates must maintain at least 75% attendance for each course & average attendance. If the students fail to maintain the number, the department/college doesn’t forward the examination form to the University exam unit. However, a minimum attendance of 50% is considered in special cases like health issues, family losses, etc.
