SPIT- Gateway to success so the college is the best.
Placements: 100 percent of students got placed from my course. Till now the highest placement offer by the company is 1.1 crore per annum. JPMorgan, Phonepe, Microsoft, and Nvidia are the top recruiters of SPIT. Almost 100 percent of students get research internship. SDE is the top role offered by the company.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels for the college, but Wi-Fi connection and a canteen are available for college students. The quality of the food is very good u2026. Every year, the college committee conducts sports activities as well as games activities for students. There is also a first aid kit in case of any injuries and the watchman keeps his eyes on every student. Each classroom is equipped with AC. Smartboards and projectors are in the classrooms.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is very knowledgeable, and the method of teaching is very professional as they prepare students for the future. The syllabus and the curriculum of the college are very relevant as SPIT follows the curriculum of the MIT USE (the world's number one place), so there is no doubt that it is industry-relevant or not. The semester level is designed by college faculty themselves which is at the medium level as students' goal is not only for an exam-centered goal but also for learning and learning.
Other: I chose this course because it has a future and with this college I have an opportunity to develop myself and my personality.

Good faculty members, helpful seniors, and a good crowd.
Placements: 65 percent of students are placed in Atharva College of Engineering. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, Siemens, Cognizant, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 14-20 LPA+, the average will be 4 to 7 LPA, and the lowest will be 2 to 3 LPA. Internship rate will be 30 to 50 percent in companies like Siemens and TCS. Roles offered are like Software Engineer, Market Analyst, and Embedded System Engineer.
Infrastructure: Atharva College also have good library facilities, classrooms are also well maintained, and labs are also clean and well maintained. The food quality at Atharva is also top-notch. They maintain hygiene and are also delicious at the same time. We also have sports craze in our college, like volleyball, cricket, table tennis, chess, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They teach in a very good manner and are also helpful to students. The curriculum is made by Mumbai University, so it's not totally unworthy, but there is a need for more practical subjects so the students can be industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exam depends on the student. If the student is regular and is doing his or her studies on time, then exam will feel easier, or else it will be so hard to even pass. Faculty members are so good at Atharva College of Engineering and well behaved, they teach students in a very friendly and respectful way, and are always available for students 24/7.
Other: I chose EXTC because I don't like software, and I can't sit in front of a PC for 7 to 8 hours nonstop, so EXTC is a good field for me to make real hard projects. I like to make hardware projects, so I took EXTC in Atharva. I wish they would bring more practical work than the theoretical paper. In Athrava, there are so many events happening now, and then, the students only organise these events. Our campus is a green campus, a plastic-free campus, and we play sports and many other things.

Excellent in terms of curriculum and faculty, but infrastructure requirements could be better.
Placements: The passing rate of my college is quite high, but placement is based on the top few rankers and not everyone, as promised while taking admission. The lowest package offered was probably Rs. 60000 PA, and the highest was 3 LPA. All in all, it depends mainly on the top 10 students.
Infrastructure: All facilities are great except the air conditioning. It stops working, especially in hot summer seasons. Classrooms are huge and spacious, but they can get suffocating in the summer, especially when the air conditioning is not working. The cafeteria is good, but due to a recent change, the quality has degraded.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and quite knowledgeable. The curriculum is also perfect for these years. Assignments are heavy, but that is just how the course is. The exam schedule is not fixed, which is an issue, but otherwise, it is a great college in terms of the learning aspect.
Other: I love interiors, so this course is perfect for me. I chose this college as there is good infrastructure and teaching.

Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Mass Communication (B.A.M.M.C.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Wilson College
4.0
2.0Placements4.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life4.0Value for Money
The college is not perfect, but it is great for media exploration.
Placements: There is a placement cell in Wilson College, but I don't think it is very useful for B.M.M. students specifically because most companies coming for placements are related to management, commerce, hospitality, or sales sectors, like Taj and Oberoi. There are very few opportunities related to media, PR, or Social Media. Most B.M.M. students find internships and jobs on their own through networking and freelancing.
Infrastructure: One of the best things about the Wilson's B.M.M. department is the separate media room facilities. The department has cameras, lights, green screens, and other shooting equipment, which students can issue for free for projects, short films, and festivals. I personally feel this practical exposure is one of the biggest learnings because real experience comes from actually using the equipment yourself. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. The library is one of the biggest and oldest in Mumbai. The canteen food is decent and affordable. Sports are not a strong part of college, as there are limited grounds and facilities.
Faculty: Teachers of the B.M.M. course are helpful and qualified. Many of them are industry professionals, which made learning more practical and relatable. The teaching quality is decent overall. The course curriculum is relevant, and after the new education policy (NEP), it has become more practical, which is good for media students. However, I think becoming industry-ready mostly depends on the student. If students actively participate in practical work, projects, and use the equipment provided by the department, then they can gain real industry exposure. Semester exams are not very difficult if we study properly. The pass percent is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to enter the media industry, and I was not sure which field exactly suited me. This course helped me explore different things, and I discovered my interest in film direction. The best thing about this course is that it gives exposure to multiple fields instead of limiting students to one career path. I feel attendance flexibility for students already working in the industry can be improved. The campus crowd is amazing and diverse because students come from different states and countries. Events and extracurricular activities are very active, especially through the cultural club, which offers great opportunities.

Good infrastructure, good placements, etc.
Placements: 50-60% were placed in my course. To be honest, there were no packages offered in our course. Top recruiters are Accenture, MUFG, TCS, etc. Around 50% of students got internships during 2025 in my batch. Accountant roles, mostly night shifts, were offered. They provide extra courses so that we can get good placements.
Infrastructure: My college has a good library. The canteen is too small, but the food is good. The campus is good, and there are facilities for dancing, games, and events, etc. There is no Wi-Fi facility and no lift facility. If you use it, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 100. The classrooms are good, and the computer lab is also good, but I would recommend not to choose BBI. There is no proper convocation.
Faculty: For accounts and law subjects, teachers were helpful. Yes, it's kind of okay. Semesters as per 2026 are easy, as my college is an autonomous college. External marks are 30, which is easy to pass, and internals too. It depends on internals; if you perform well, it's easy to crack semester exams. The passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I just wanted to try my interest in banking, so I chose BBI. The best thing about my course is accounts and law. I found those subjects easy to understand. About events, it is very good, and it also has a good campus. They provide scholarships.
