Overview

ULSAT Counselling is expected to begin soon, as the exam has concluded. The process generally begins with candidates being shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Candidates have to be present for ULSAT counselling as per the schedule only. 

Candidates opting for the non-examination pathway i.e. on basis of CLAT scores or Class 12th merit scores are directly called for GD and PI rounds. About ULSAT Counselling Process

ULSAT counselling process begin after the exam results come out. School of Legal Studies, UPES grants admission on the basis of ULSAT scores/ CLAT scores or Class 12th merit will have to visit the counselling venue as per their call letter and participate in the following rounds: It helps you to take admission in UPES law courses. Most of the time it happens online, and you need to follow few steps properly to get your seat.

When you pass the ULSAT exam, you will be called for counselling. The university send you mail or message with date, time and place or sometimes online link. Keep checking UPES official website so you don’t miss any new update.

You have to register yourself on the admission portal first. Fill your name, roll number, and exam marks there. After that, upload all documents like mark sheets, ID proof, and photo. Make sure everything is clear and right, or it can make delay in your process.

Then comes the choice filling part. You choose your favorite law courses and campus options as per your interest and rank. Choose wisely because once you lock it, you can’t change later. Seat allotment is done by merit, seat available, and your choices.

After you get a seat, confirm it by paying the counselling or admission fee before the last date. If you don’t pay in time, your seat may go to another student. Once payment is done, UPES will give you an admission letter.

Sometimes, more counselling rounds happen if seats are still empty. If you didn’t get seat in first round, you can try again in next one. Keep your papers ready and check updates often to avoid last minute issues.

Group Discussion – All the selected candidates are called for GD first and then a topic is given to a group of 6-8 people. Candidates will have to speak in favour or against the topic allotted. The jury present will be awarding marks to candidates individually only. 

Personal Interview – After GD, candidates will be called for Personal Interview where candidates are assessed based on their knowledge regarding the law course.

Document Verification – The process of document verification is carried out along with Personal Interview. Here, the examination authority verifies the documents submitted by candidates.
