Vit Vellore course review.
Placements: About more than 300 students in my batch. The average package is about 6 LPA, and the highest is based on your performance, it may go up to 40 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and more. There are good placements if you have reached a certain criteria like completing the credit and internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the lab and classes is good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. In library it is available. The hostel facilities are good and the food is also good. If you're interested in sports, there is a chance you can play, and they give first preference to health in the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty are friendly and they help if you ask them, and the quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is relevant. The semesters are average, and if you study on a daily basis, it won't be a problem. The notes uploaded by the faculty are very helpful and good.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: In our college, more than 90% of students are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 150000 per month. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., visit our campus. For internships, we need to register. The college management sends emails to their students about internships every day. We can register for any internship. Top roles offered are CEO, manager, and HR.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. The campus is surrounded by trees. Classrooms are spacious. Fans are available in classrooms. Air-conditioners are available in labs. Every student can get a PC to do their assignments. The library is 3-storeyed. Many books are available in the library. If you require books related to your subjects, you can borrow them from the library for 20 days. Moreover, the library provides laptops for working on assignments. The hostel facilities are good. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The quality of the food in the mess is good. A hospital is available. Ambulance services are available. There are many sports, like football, cricket, etc. A basketball court is available. There is a stadium and an auditorium. The gym and swimming pool are good.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. They are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and friendly. They clear our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. Exams are categorised in three ways such as CAT-1, CAT-2, and final semester exams. The CAT marks are included with the final semester exams. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I chose this course because it has a lot of scope for the future, and they teach nearly all programming languages and foreign languages. Cultural events are excellent. Our college students are very friendly. There is no ragging. Scholarships are provided for poor students and other students. The college offers numerous clubs and chapters, allowing students to engage in extracurricular activities and expand their knowledge.

Our college is good for our career with efforts and enjoyment.
Placements: Most of the companies offer good placements to students with no backlogs and a minimum CGPA of 7, and super dream companies with a 9 CGPA. The salary packages are determined by your overall academic performance throughout the year.
Infrastructure: Men's and women's hostels are completely separate. Women's hostels are good compared to men's hostels. Rules and regulations are average, with some limitations. The infrastructure of hostels is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but the syllabus and the time you have are inadequate due to high pressure and a lot of assignments and exams held every month with lab and theory assignments. Every faculty is different from the others. Some faculty members are good and the rest are tough ones.
Other: I chose the course based on a friend's recommendation. I think it's worthwhile for me compared to other colleges. Many things are good enough. Time management needs to be improved for other skills. Events and fests are excellent.

There are a lot more things you can do than study.
Placements: Approximately 98% of students will be placed in our college. The highest salary package that was offered to us was 30 LPA, the lowest salary package was 4 LPA, and the average salary package was 7 LPA. Amazon, Apple, BCG, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, TCS, Mahindra, There are a lot more companies, so don't fear joining this course. Just chill and enjoy.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi speed is very bad (maximum 500kbps). The limit is 200 GB per year, and you know it is very little for us. It is the best library I have ever seen. But slowly it turns into OYO lite. There are 3 types of meal selections, vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and special. The special is nothing but a normal mess, a desert, fruits, and fruit juice.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are careless. They won't teach you perfectly. You need to learn from other sources like YouTube, Chegg, etc. The curriculum is relevant and it helps students for placement purposes. The semester exams are on God's level and the difficulty level is tough. If you are thinking of studying overnight before exams, then you will be gone. Just study from the start of the semester, or else prepare Rs. 6,000 for supply.

This is the best course a college can offer, and choose it if and only if you like CSE.
Placements: Currently, for the integrated M.Tech CSE data science branch, the placements have not been conducted as the course is new, and they are expected in 2024. But, considering B.Tech placements, integrated M.Tech software engineering and M.Tech CSE placements, there is a really good scope for placements as the college is improving year by year in terms of packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. They have one of the finest buildings and facilities. The classrooms and labs are comfortable and have an environment for learning. The hostels can be termed just fine even with the relatively good facilities because of a huge crowd present.
Faculty: The faculty who taught me until now are very much keen to make us understand the concepts well. They are always ready to be contacted via WhatsApp for doubt-solving. But I heard that there are some faculty you have to avoid as they might be a real pain. We have FFCS, so one can always try to get a good teacher. This integrated M.Tech course is really intensive compared to a B.Tech degree, as one has to do 6 years of work in just 5 years. The CS subjects are also relatively extensive compared to the B.Tech degree. Make sure you really love CSE and programming before you even think of joining this course.
Other: The crowd of VIT is very massive. But the management is efficient in terms of managing such a humongous crowd. I assure you that there will be a minimum of 3-5 events on a normal day. There is a club for every activity one can ever think of. There are also some national-level representative clubs and chapters in VIT, where you can always be a part of.
