Overall, the best college for M.Tech. in Embedded Systems Course.

Placements: Our college will help you get placed. About 77% of the students from the group got a salary of 5 LPA in the previous year. The highest salary is 35 LPA. The best students earned between 10 LPA and 20 LPA. Some of the companies that come to our college for placements are Qualcomm, Intel, NHP Semiconductors, Texas Instruments, Nvidia and many more.

Infrastructure: The hostel is comfortable and flexible. Our canteen and mess cuisine are excellent, and we have a wide selection. Water is provided hourly, and the facilities are excellent compared to other hotels. Additionally, we have multiple stadiums with different coaches for each game.

Faculty: I have had a variety of experiences here. Some of the faculty were very good. They believed in practical learning rather than literary knowledge. Here we had the freedom to formulate and execute ideas. On the other hand, as seen in any institution, some teachers have no way of communicating with students. The semester examinations are of moderate quality with a pass rate of 74%.

It is a good campus and has good faculty members.

Placements: Our college offers placement assistance. Around 75% of the students from the batch got placed in the previous year with the lowest salary package of 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered to them was 25 LPA. The maximum number of students got the salary package of around 6 LPA-8 LPA. Companies which visit our college for placements are Siemens, Reliance, TCS, Amazon, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Our entire college is equipped with Wi-Fi facility, and it has notice boards, updated practical labs and great mess and canteen. The food served in both the mess and canteen is good. Rooms in the hostels are also suitable but a little crowded.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, and they try to provide us with maximum practical knowledge. Most of them are PhD holders, while the rest of the teachers are pursuing a PhD. The quality of education provided is high for students who want to learn. The course curriculum is also up to date.

Other: A technical fest is organised in our college, which is excellent.

Good faculty and great infrastructure.

Placements: Around 70% of the students are placed. Some of the Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Amazon, Force, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, Philips, TCS, Infosys, Paypal, Intel, ABB, Siemens. The highest package offered is 26 LPA, the average package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: VIT University is excellent with its infrastructure. Wi-Fi-enabled campus. Library, classrooms and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel rooms are good but small. The quality of mess food is great. They provide North Indian as well as south Indian meals.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified as most of them have a Ph.D. degree. Teaching quality is good. They will not spoon feed you with everything. The course curriculum is appropriate. It makes students industry-ready with practical, projects, internships and industry visits.

Other: Gravitas, the technical fest and Riviera the social and cultural fest are some of the biggest events that are organized by the college.

Great infrastructure, quality teaching and exemplary placement.

Placements: More than 90% of students in my batch were placed in various companies. As companies start coming in at the beginning of the 2nd year and continue hiring for the next 3-4 months. Packages vary between 6-25 LPA. For our stream, companies like Intel, Microtek, Qualcomm etc. Came for the recruitment.

Infrastructure: The VIT, Vellore infrastructure is top-notch from well-maintained hostels to homely food in the hostel mess. There are different messes that cater to North Indian and South Indian cuisine. The Labs are well equipped with current-gen instruments and classrooms have switched to using smart-boards.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, friendly and qualified. During the lab sessions, they helped us get a good understanding of the software used by industries and their applications. We were provided with teaching material at the end of each class along with various assignments. The assignments need to be uploaded digitally via the VIT students portal. Each small group of students was assigned a teacher to help with various projects across different fields. This helped us prepare for the industry as well.

VIT placements and campus life.

Placements: I got placed in Honeywell technology solutions as an intern and converted to a regular employee. I even got offers from TCS and Wipro. During every March to April period, companies will come to offer internships and placements to students. The selection procedure will be different for each company, but most of the companies pattern will be aptitude exam, technical interview (2-3 rounds), and HR, and during July time, the below software companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, CTS, and Accenture will come for placements.

Infrastructure: One of the best infrastructure colleges in India. Like other colleges, there won't be the single dedicated classroom we have to shift the class as per course. Sometimes you have to attend 1 class in SJT and the next one in TT. The hostel rooms will be like 3-star hotel rooms (talking about AC rooms especially on the block). We also have very good lab facilities in the college.

Faculty: Like other colleges, there won't be a single curriculum here you have options to select the subjects you like for example out of 6 subjects 3 or 4 will be mandatory, while you can select the other 2 subjects as optional. There will be more than one faculty available for one subjects. Selecting the faculty and timings is very important in this college.

I was absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure, teaching and 100% dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: The college will get around 10-15 companies for placements. The students will be eligible for all the companies if you have 70% throughout. If 60 you will have eligibility for 5-10 companies.The companies which come to campus for placements are Intel, Qualcomm, Nvidia, Delphi, HCL, CATS, TCS, Mettle Synopsis, Visteon. Around 40 students were placed out of 64 in my batch. My seniors batch was lucky that 90% students were placed in the placements.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is a major advantage of the college you will be given 20GB per month. The library is awesome and very useful for the students. The sports, games are not given preferences for M.tech students in the college. The labs and classes are highly equipped. The hostel rooms depend on no of people you share 2 or 3 or 4 beds. The food in the canteen depends on the mess you select. The distance from the hostel to the classroom will be around 1km in the college.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are highly qualified. The course consists of 4 semesters and 75credits for the students. I didn't get industry exposure in the college. The teaching quality is somewhat good with students to faculty ratio around 25:1 in the college. The course curriculum was only 60% useful with some irrelevant subjects like computational technique to the students. The teaching method was through the projector for the students.

Other: Rivera is the main event in VIT. Gravitas is another event. There will be many events daily in the college. Only B.tech students can enjoy those events.

VIT-Vellore, M.Tech (Embedded System)- Living the dreams.

Placements: This institution has over-exceeded my expectations about the placements. This university is a pioneer in technical studies, and there is no match for it. I came here just to get a degree and an IT kind of job but ended up in a core automotive product manufacturing company which seems like a dream come true.

Infrastructure: I bet when you visit this campus for the first time you can't deny the amusement you experience. It gives you the feel of "out of the world" thing. Technology tower is a building with world-class laboratories. You can have access to any library with the prior approval. Some classes are also held here. Other buildings for the academic purposes are silver jubilee tower, hexagon building, main building and GD Nadu block. But having these many buildings creates trouble when you've consecutive classes in the buildings situated far away. Library is awesome here with an enormous potential for knowledge including in it. Sport's lover will not get dissatisfied here as campus host almost all the games that I know. Hostel facility is good, but always need an active participation of the students residing in it, in order to maintain cleanliness of it. It will give you the feel of heaven in different seasons. The thing that will break your heart is that girls and boys hostel is separated by a railway track so it will increase efforts for all those who are willing to get into a relationship. It also includes a number of the auditorium and smart classes. There is a separate placement cell area in SJT tower where all official training and placement related activities gets hosted.

Faculty: Here I have a mix experiences. Some faculty members were extremely good in their field. They believed in the practical learning rather than the bookish knowledge. We got freedom here to invent and implement ideas we have. But on the other side, as you can see in any institution, some teachers lack bridging in between students and them.

Other: VIT hosts a massive crowd of 25,000-30,000 students. In order to maintain all of them, rules & regulations are very strict. They have a huge man force also to implement and maintain all the rules.

Vit our pride college and dream.

Placements: The placement of our college is pretty good and almost all the students are placed in top notch companies like wipro and Microsoft. This college is good if you are not selected in IIT JEE. The highest package goes upto 70-80lac per annum and the lowest 3-4 lac per annum.

Infrastructure: The quality of hostel are good and adjustable. The food of our mess and canteen are quite good and we have many varieties in food. The infrastructure Is also of top notch compared to other hostels and water is also available 24 hours. We also have multiple sports ground and separate coaches designed for each games.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and respected as they give us quality education with required notes and knowledge. They always are ready to help us in all the aspects. We are also provided with field training and internships in companies for more understanding apart from classroom learning.
