Candidates having a current GATE score are also eligible to register for MBA courses and are excluded from taking the TANCET. Candidates for the ME, M.Tech, M.Plan, M.Arch, MBA, and MCA programs will ultimately be picked through a counseling procedure. Anna University administers a written test as part of the M.Sc. program selection procedure, and those who pass the test are then invited to an interview. A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) is required to qualify for application. Admission into BTech courses at Anna University-affiliated colleges, several entrance examinations are accepted, including JEE Main, AEEE, IMU CET, and TNEA Counselling. Hence, candidates who have secured a decent scores in any one of these entrance examination are allowed to apply for BTech course at university, and students who qualify the cutoff list/ merit list can get a seat in the programme.

The Anna University TANCET 2023 registration has started. Till February 22, 2023, students can submit online applications to Anna University.
