NIT Trichy vs IITs

As per the old traditional belief, a student getting admission in IIT will easily secure a job in the top companies. The job market is now changing. The companies want to hire skilled people from top organisations. Hence, skills and brand name go hand in hand. IITs like IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay have won the trust of the top recruiters, but the newly formed IITs still have a lot to do to make their name. Refer to the list of new IITs:

All the newly established IITs are still growing and need improvement to stand at par with an NIT established in 1964. Companies with good packages prefer to pick students from the top NITs instead of going to newly established IITs. The pillar of some NITs has stood the test of time, and hence are trusted over many IITs. Talking about the infrastructure, contrary to the traditional belief of only IITs securing big grants, NITs have also shown steady growth in their available facilities.

Time to Acknowledge the Rise of NIT Trichy

Looking at the whole picture, one can say that a student who has missed the opportunity of getting admission in the top IITs must not feel hopeless. The trends are changing, and the people's perspectives are transforming. IITs such as IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi are still leading the race, and the gap between these IITs and NIT Trichy is huge. With NIT's new and improved education quality, students expect this gap to reduce over time. It's high time we stop chasing big brand names and start recognising the real heroes.
