For the General All India Female category candidates, the most competitive BTech specialisation was CSE with Round 1 and the Last Round closing rank of 432. For all the BTech specialisation offered at IIT Delhi, students must refer to the table given below:
For 2022, the cut off was 2925 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Engineering Physics in IIT Delhi. Like all the other categories, BTech in CSE was the most competitive specialisation during the IIT Delhi cutoff 2021 for the SC category students under the ALL India Quota. The Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for CSE were 33 and 34, respectively. The cutoff ranks for other BTech specialisations are tabulated below:
Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 574 and closing rank was 574. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1572 and 1572. Admission to BTech in Electrical Engineering in IIT Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
The JEE Advanced cutoff for 2025 has been released for Round 1. For BTech in Chemical Engineering, the JEE Advanced last round closing ranks were 2548 and 2464 for IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, respectively, for the students belonging to the General AI quota. For CSE admission at IIT Gandhinagar, the last round closing rank stood at 2020. Therefore, regardless of the branch you get, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay are also considered to be better options due to their brand value, academics, and placements.
