Good placements, helpful faculty, and decent campus life with scope for improvement.
Placements: Around 80-90% students get placed. The highest package is about 16.5 LPA. The lowest is approximately 4.5 LPA, and the average is about 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Tata Steel, Vedanta, JSW, Capgemini, and L&T. Nearly 70% students get internships in firms like Tata Steel, DRDO, and Microsoft. Roles offered are engineer, analyst, and developer.
Infrastructure: BIT, Sindri offers Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, classrooms with projects, and a large library. Hostels are basic but functional, the mess food is hygienic, and the canteens are affordable. Medical care is available, and sports facilities include cricket, football, volleyball, and indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers at Bit Sindri are very qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is decent with a theory and practical focus. The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a pass percentage of around 90 to 95%.
Other: I chose cybersecurity for its demand and role in protecting data. The best part is learning ethical hacking, cryptography, and network security. Needs better labs and tools. Campus has fests, clubs, scholarships, sports, and a family crowd.

It is a good college with very good facilities.
Placements: Around 95-100% of students got placed in our college. The salary package offered is less than 10 LPA. A few students got a salary package of 20 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.4 LPA. Samsung, DE, Deloitte, etc., visit our college. The top role offered is SDE. Our college provides good placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. It is improving. There is a central library on campus. It is a bit small. Wi-Fi is available in our classrooms. Classrooms are old. The hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Some of them are good. They put in effort to improve us. Semester exams are easy.
Other: Our college fee is low.

Absolutely satisfied and ultimate return on investment.
Placements: The placement Statistics of Computer Science Engineering is 100% for the batch 2022. The highest package offered was 44 Lacs per annum by Amazon and the lowest was 3.5 Lacs offered by TCS Ninja. Although the average package was 12 Lacs for the branch. The top recruiters include Amazon, Samsung, Google (of-campus), Cognizant, Wipro, Tata Steel (hire for teach role), TCS Digital, TCS Ninja, Deloitte etc. The internship basically depends on your skills. Here students got internship in DRDO, ISRO, Vedanta, Adani group, TATA Steel, Amazon, MITACS (research internship at Canada), research internships at IIT's. Core branch students get on-campus internships but teach branch students have to find off campus internships.
Infrastructure: Since this college is maintained by government of Jharkhand so we can not find the luxurious infrastructure here. But this college has separate buildings for all the 10 branches. The look of these buildings would definitely excited you about the antique history of this college for sure. There is a Central Library situated in the middle of the campus with huge genres of books for you. You have to issue a library card to avail the service. There is a dispensary situated in the college campus. Visiting time is between 8 to 9 am and 5 to 6:30 pm. Hostel gives you a feel of typical government institute. Rooms are very spacious and well ventilated. Although there is no AC in the room also no geyser in the washrooms. You also do not get wify in the hostel. For Wi-Fi you have to visit Library. The quality of food served in the mess is quiet praiseworthy. Various sports events are conducted inside the college campus and between near by colleges like IIT ISM Dhanbad. There is a canteen situated in the middle of the campus though it is not allowed for freshers.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable and well experienced in their fields. Many of them are passout of IIT's. Their indepth knowledge of the subject would definitely allure you. The course curriculum is designed in such a manner that along with theoretical knowledge of the subject you will also get practical exposure to real working methodology in various top companies through internships and VT's. The semester exam are chilled here. You do not have to take tension about the curriculum at all. So you can explore other areas of interests of yours.
Other: I had keen interest in technology and this excites me a lot. So I chose this subject in this college. One thing I would like to add on that the college admin should atleast provide Wi-Fi facilities to Computer Science and IT branch students because they really need this facility. There are various teach and cultural events conducted through the year inside the college campus. Various students take part in these events from near by colleges. The aura inside the campus during events is highly exciting and mind blowing. The college is well connected through the main city, markets and railway station of Dhanbad. Mostly students prefer to take local train from Sindri town station (which is just outside the campus) to travel to Dhanbad city. Students here apply for Foundation for Excellence Scholarship (FFE) and e-Kalyan scholarships. Since the college fee is nothing as compared to other college and that much money is reimbursed by the availed scholarships so it is completely a good return of investment.

Review of Birsa Institute of Technology, Sindri.
Placements: More than 70% students are placed in our college.
Highest package was INR 32,00,000 CTC, the lowest package was INR 3,00,000 CTC and average was INR 6,00,000 CTC. Top recruiting companies are Tata steel, vedanta, TCS, Wipro, cognizant etc. Every year 5 to 10 student get internship from Tata steel in third year and they also provide PPO.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It is of old model because our college was established in 1949.
It is one of the oldest colleges in India. No Wi-Fi facility is there in our college. There are many labs for each subject.
In our college, there is a central library where we can read or issue books for free for 15 days and after that you have to pay INR 0.25 per book per day. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good, you get a common room shared between 4 students. You get a chair and a table. Every thing in the hostel are neat and clean. Hostel fees is given below-
1)hostel fees - INR 7000 per year
2)electricity fee- INR 2500 per year
3)mess fees - INR 3900 per month.
Faculty: Yes, many teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but not all. Some of the teachers are not experienced in teaching. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant and you learn many knowledgeable skills from lab and extra activities.
The semester exams are very easy. You can easily get 8 to 9 CGPA by self studying for 2 months.
Other: I chose B tech Electrical engineering because I have an interest in Electric Machine and here the college fees is very less so I chose BIT Sindri.
I wish the college provides best teaching experienced professor and coll provides good lab equipment. Many small fest like cultural fest, tech fest happen in our college. College campus area is very large. Their is a big ground named as CG (College Ground) where many tournaments happen. You can get many scholarships named as e kalyan, ffe scholarship and ndp scholarship.

The best government college in Jharkhand.
Placements: Talking about CSE placements, they are quite good. Approximately 90% of the students get placed in companies like amazon, Samsung, deloitte, Microsoft, etc. The highest package in the year 2022 is 44 LPA offered to 2 students, the lowest is around 5-6 LPA and average is 9-10 LPA. About 35-40% students get internship in renowned companies like Amazon, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: Though it's a government college but the quality of infrastructure is above average. Here you will get labs related to various fields and classrooms are well equipped with fans. Auditoriums with ACs. A magnificent library and much more. Hostels are the nicest having volleyball courts to play, mess food is more than good with 4 days non-veg per week. Evening snacks are also provided. We also have a BIT canteen where you can get any veg item or non-veg, cold drinks and much more. We have campus grounds where sports like volleyball, basketball, football, cricket, etc. are played.
Faculty: All the teachers here are the most qualified ones. They are quite helpful in both academics as well as in other curriculum activities. We have labs which provide an environment for industrial expertise. Honestly speaking about the semester exams, you can easily pass them with a bit of effort but if you want 9 or above pointer then you have to work harder. Infact each and every student here gets passed easily.
Other: I'm from CSE branch. I chose this as coding is the field of my interest. Also you will see tough competition in this branch among students. Here we have coding clubs like HNCC and IETE which are mostly dedicated to coding areas.
