SET Exam Result 2025 (Link OUT): Download Symbiosis SET Exam Scorecard @set-test.org

The Symbiosis International (Deemed University) releases the SET scorecards for all sessions. Only the candidates who appeared for the SET exam were able to download their scorecards using their User ID and password. The scorecards were available only on the official website on May 24, 2025. The SET exam 2025 was conducted on May 5, 2025, and May 11, 2025, in the computer-based test mode. The SET results were out for all the courses provided by the institutes under the Symbiosis International University. The SET scores are accepted in the 10 prestigious colleges of Symbiosis University.

Candidates can check their SET result at the official website. To download their scorecards, they need to login to the candidate login portal. The SET result can be downloaded on only on a desktop or a laptop. Following are the steps to download the SET  result card:

1. Visit the official website of the SET exam which is set-test.org
2. Click on the 'Download Scorecard' tab
3. Enter login credentials - SET user ID and password 
4. Check your result for the SET exam
5. Download the SET scorecard and take a printout of the same for future references

SET results are announced within a week of the SET exam. Once the results are announced, students can start preparing for the SET counselling rounds and apply to the college's websites. If the candidate meets the SET cutoff of the participating institute they will be called for the WAT/PI rounds. For the preparation of these rounds, students should focus on improving communication skills, current affairs awareness, general knowledge, etc. 

SET score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by aspirants in the SET exam. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded one mark. For an incorrect answer, there is no negative marking. And also no marks will be awarded or deducted for unaswered questions. Candidates who match the SET cutoff criteria are further called for the Personal Interview round. 

Therefore, the total marks of SET is 60. The sectional marking scheme for SET is given below:

1. General English: 16
2. Analytical and Logical Reasoning: 12
3. Quantitative Ability: 16
4. General Knowledge: 16

Candidates must choose the questions to solve very carefully and smartly as they will not be awarded marks for incorrect answers. If they are not sure of the correct answer, they should leave the question instead of taking a chance.

Candidates have to choose their preferred institutes during the SET application process and pay the requisite fee. After the SET results are announced, the SET participating institutes will release their cutoffs. If the candidate matches the cutoff, they will be required to appear for the further admission process which includes the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). 

Aspirants do not need to call the institutes nor will they get a call from the institutes. Candidates will be required fill out the registration form for the participating Symbiosis Institutes after the announcement of results and cut-off marks according to the schedule released on their official websites. 

After the declaration of SET result, each participating institute will release a cutoff list to shortlist the candidates. The participating institutes will then call the candidates for the admission process which includes further rounds. If candidates want to apply at colleges other than those selected during the SET application process, then they will have to fill out the application form for those other colleges individually. The SET selection process includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Applicants can begin preparing for the GD/PI rounds soon after the SET result announcement. SET score remains valid for one year for BBA admission. The final admissions will be based on candidates' performance in the SET exam as well as in WAT/PI/ST rounds.

In 2025, SET was conducted in two phase, i.e. Test 01 and Test 02. According to the SET analysis and student's reactions, the difficult level of the exam is easy to moderate in both sessions. A good score in SET BBA exam can be subjective, but if we look at the analysis, then the following can be termed as a good score in SET:

SET exam has four sections having multiple-choice questions. The sectional weightage of each section of the SET question paper is different. The General English, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge sections have 16 questions. Each question carries one mark. The Analytical and Logical Reasoning section of the SET question paper has12 multiple-choice questions and each question carries one mark. For incorrect answers, there is no negative marking. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by the ten prestigious institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The admissions to these colleges is done on the basis of the scores obtained by the students in the SET exam. Students who wish to appear in the SET exam must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Class 12. Hence, your eligibility criteria to appear for the SET entrance exam matches the your score in Class 12, i.e. 75%. However, the SET cutoff usually goes up till 90% for the General category. If you belogn to the General category then, having a 45% in the SET entrance exam lowers your chances of getting into the Symbiosis International University. SET score is valid for admission for the same academic year in which the candidate has taken the exam. For example, SET 2025 score will be valid for admission for 2025-2028 BBA batch only. If a candidate wishes to drop a year after taking the SET exam, then they will have to appear for the exam once again next year. They should however check the eligibility or selection criteria to have a clarity of SET score of which session/phase is valid for admission in which academic year. Candidates taking the SET exam, the test takers must not try to use their score for admission more than one year after appearing for it. They should appear for it again and use the latest score for admission.

Most of the colleges follow the same selection process, i.e. exam score, Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Some colleges do not conduct WAT. The GD round is conducted group-wise. Each group has a few numbers of aspirants who are given a topic to discuss. About 5-10 minutes are given to aspirants for preparing their argument and then there is a discussion on that topic. In a Group Discussion, the panelists adjudge the candidate's ability to hold a discussion, lead a discussion and convince a group of people. In the WAT, candidates are given a topic to write a short essay. The essay is usually of 200-300 words. Through WAT, the interviews check candidates' knowledge, clarity of thought, and communication ability. In the PI round, candidates are judged on their interpersonal skills, communication ability, and overall personality. For instance, SCMC Pune does not conduct the Group Discussion round but rather has a studio test that the students are judged on. Students' academic profile is also taken into consideration for the final selection. However, there may be slight differences in cut-offs or weightage assigned to various selection criteria of the colleges. Candidates must check the admission process of each institute of their preference on their official website or call on the help desk.

SET cut-offs will be announced after the declaration of the result. The SET scores are accepted by the ten prestigious colleges of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and each individual institute releases their own cutoff after the results are announced. SET results are usually announced in the last week of May, for the both the sessions and other courses. Students can check the same on the official websites of the institutes. The students who match the cutoff criteria will be called for further selection process which includes Group Discussions and Personal Interview . Some institutes also conduct Written Ability Test as a part of the selection process.

No, after the SET exam is cleared, candidates had to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes. The SET scores are accepted by the ten prestigious institutes of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process included Written Ability Test (What), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. were also considered for admission to various institutes which accept SET scores. The SET result will be declared online after the exam is conducted. The SET result cum scorecard is an important document for the SET admission process. The following details are mentioned on every candidate's SET scorecard 2024:

4. Sectional scores obtained by the candidate

To be eligible for SET counselling, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

1. Candidate must have qualified for the SET exam by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks and matching the cutoff criteria
2. Candidates must have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board or institute.
3. Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate or equivalent (45% for reserved categories) in Class 12
4. Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria for the desired course and college for admission based on SET.
5. The candidate must have all the required documents at the time of document verification.

Candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria can participate in SET counseling process. Such candidates can apply for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by colleges accepting SET scores.
