Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2026 or SET General is a BBA entrance test conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to various undergraduate courses such as Management, Mass Communication, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Studies. SET Exam 2026 Application Process

The SET exam registration 2026 started online on December 12, 2025. The SET application form 2026 is available online on the official website of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The application form is the same for all the courses, and the applicants will have to choose their preference for the SET exam centre while filling out the SET 2026 application form.

Documents Required for Filling SET Exam Application Form 2026

Applicants should keep the following documents ready before filling up the SET 2026 application form:

• Recent passport-size photograph
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
• Date of birth certificate
• Photo ID proof
• Caste certificate (if applicable)

Steps to Apply for SET Exam 2026

Check out the steps mentioned below to know how to apply for the Symbiosis admission test for BBA courses:

Step 1: SET exam registration

Candidates applying for the SET exam need to register themselves as new users to begin the SET registration. Visit the official website of SET and register using the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, etc. and create a password and user ID. 

Step 2: SET Application Form Filling and Application Fee

Candidates then need to login using their User ID and password. Fill in the remaining details such as communication address, preferred test city, etc. Candidates then need to upload their recent passport-size photograph and other required documents. They will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. Once they confirm the OTP and submit the same they need to pay the SET exam application fee. The SET application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking or UPI. The application fee can also be paid offline through a demand draft. 

Step 3: Part 2 of the SET Exam Application Form 2026

After successfully submitting the SET application form 2026, aspirants need to choose their preferred institutes where they want to send in their SET exam scores. Aspirants need to pay the application fee online and then pay the institute fee, which is INR 1000 per institute.

Candidates who successfully register for the SET exam 2026 have to make a fee payment online using a credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI. Candidates can pay the application fee through Billdesk Payment Gateway, Easebuzz Payment Gateway or Indian Bank Payment Gateway. Candidates can also pay the application fee offline through a demand draft from any nationalised bank drawn in favour of the ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat' payable at Pune. To make payment through a DD, candidates need to take a printout of the payment advice form, fill in the details and sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at

Important Points to Remember When Applying for SET Exam 2026

Candidates must remember the following points when applying for SET 2026:

• Carefully and clearly fill out the Symbiosis SET exam application form.
• The information filed by the candidates must be valid and if it is found to be false, the admission can be cancelled.
• The photograph uploaded in the SET BBA application form should not be older than three months.
• Enter a valid email ID and mobile number as the candidates will receive communication on the registered number and email.

SET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Aspirants must fulfil the below-mentioned SET exam eligibility criteria 2026 to be able to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Exam (SET) 2026:

• Applicant must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board in the relevant stream.
• Applicant must have obtained at least 50% aggregate in Class 12 (45% for the reserved category).
• Applicants awaiting Class 12 results can also apply provisionally, provided they submit a passing certificate.
• Applicants who have completed class 12 or equivalent from a Foreign board must present an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SET Exam Admit Card 2026

SET admit card 2026 will be issued to those candidates who have successfully registered for SET 2026 exam and have paid the application fee. The SET exam admit card will be released on SET exam website. Check steps mentioned below to learn how to download SET exam admit card 2026:

• Click on the ‘Admit card’ link
• Enter login credentials and download the admit card

The candidates must know that the SET admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. They will not be allowed to enter the SET exam centre without the admit card. They must carefully check the information mentioned on the admit cards such as the name of the candidate, exam date, venue, time and contact details. Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID proof issued by the Government of India to the exam centre. They must affix a recent passport-size photograph on the admit card which matches the one uploaded in the SET application form 2026.

SET Exam Syllabus 2026

There isn’t a specific SET syllabus prescribed by Symbiosis International (Deemed University); however, the SET question paper 2026 will have questions from topics related to Analytical and Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, General English and Quantitative Aptitude. To ace the SET exam, students need to thoroughly study these topics and sub-topics.

Topic-Wise SET Exam Syllabus 2026 

The Analytical and Logical Reasoning section will have questions on topics such as Arrangements, Series, Blood Relations, Syllogisms, Assumptions, Venn Diagrams, Coding and Decoding, Situation-based questions, Verbal Reasoning (cause and effect), Arguments and Situations, Strong and Weak Arguments, Statements and Conclusions, etc.

General English sections will have topics related to Grammar, Jumbled Sentences, Synonyms and Antonyms, Phrases, Reading Comprehension, Analogy, Error Spelling, Vocabulary, Fill in the blanks, etc.

The Quantitative Skills section will have Class 10-level mathematics. It had questions on topics such as Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Time and Work, Probability, Number System, Time, Speed and Distance, Algebra, Permutation and Combination, etc.
