Good college for BE students
Placements: Good placements are happening for IT and CS-related branches. Many companies are also visiting the campus for recruitment. Since there are no EEE, Mechanical, or Civil branches, all focus is on IT-related courses, and because of that, students get good placement opportunities from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is good. Hostels are available on the college campus. The campus is well-maintained, provides good information, and is quite informative. Overall, the college is good.
Faculty: The faculty shows good commitment towards both internal and external work. They maintain a strong student–faculty relationship and have a good reputation in all areas. They also possess instant problem-solving skills, which lead to good communication and commitment between students and teachers.
Other: All events are well organized and enjoyable. The auditorium is also good.

It has good exposure. It is in the center of the IT region, but the coding culture could be better.
Placements: Companies mostly come for SDE roles at the beginning of the placement season. Japanese companies visit the college from July to December. It offers a spectrum of roles and students can select roles accordingly. Towards the end of the season loads of BDA roles, HR, and some product manager roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average. The food is average as well. But there are many options available as PGs are available outside at a very reasonable price. Wi-Fi on campus keeps fluctuating. Computer Science labs are well-organised. Classrooms are neat and spacious.
Faculty: Computer Science has a good number of faculty members but they are kind of vindictive in nature. The 1st year management is great. The HOD of the Basic Science category that is Dr. k Ravessha is a great teacher. Even in CSE significant number of teachers are very good at the subject. But the department is strict in general. Other departments are lenient if we want to pursue some courses independently.

The college is worth it. I suggest students get admission here.
Placements: Almost 70-80% of students get placements every year. Many companies visit our college for placements. The CSE branch is getting more placements. The highest package is 44 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. Software development engineer is the top role offered in my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is so good. Labs are properly maintained. Classrooms are neat and clean. It has hygiene and a good environment. The food is good in the hostel. There is no Wi-Fi problem. The mess is neat and clean. Medical facilities are available here.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. They help in solving problems. There are good mentors. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not difficult, and they are a bit easier. It makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage of the college is 90%.

The fees are horrible and may increase in the coming years.
Placements: Almost 88% of students are placed every time. The highest package is 33.26 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. The recruiting companies are PhonePe, Ark Ltd, AZN Bank, and many more. They don't provide an internship, but only a placement. For internships, you have to do it yourself. The roles offered are software developer, analytics, and management roles.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have a greenboard with a projector, Wi-Fi (which works pretty good, if u know), and all necessary ports. I am not in the hostel, so I don't know about that. They provide medical facilities, sports facilities like table tennis, volleyball, football, a gym, basketball, and a ground for cricket. The labs are decent, not that good, I don't know why, but it is as it is.
Faculty: Teachers are either Ph.D. holders or assistant professors and have pretty decent knowledge about their subjects. The course is not very relevant to today's industry, and it is like this in most colleges. You have to put in your own efforts. The semester exams are of a moderate level, and almost everyone passes 2 internals and 1 external.
Other: ISE is more related to the software part and development, and it is more similar to CSE. The best thing is that we have more industry exposure with this course. Better teachers are required who have good industry exposure. There should be more sports facilities and more extracurricular events, as they are taking a huge fee. The campus is small, but at the central location of the IT hub, connectivity is really good by all means. The crowd is mixed, scholarship is provided, but god knows who gets those.

It is fine to come into this college and college fees are also less.
Placements: About 80% of students got placed. Most of the companies visit so it depends on how you learn languages. There are several things that you need to learn by yourself so focus on DSA. Do well in internal assessment and VTU exams. As this college is under VTU so companies visit here.
Infrastructure: Our college is equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors, whiteboards, and audio-visual systems to enhance the learning experience. There are various well-equipped labs for different disciplines like computer science, electronics, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and more. These labs help students in hands-on learning. The central library has a vast collection of books, journals, and e-resources, along with digital facilities for accessing online materials. There are specialized centers for research in various domains, such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and data science, to encourage innovation and student participation in cutting-edge projects.
Faculty: The faculty members at CMRIT (CMR Institute of Technology) are highly qualified and experienced, contributing significantly to the institution's academic excellence. They are dedicated to providing quality education and nurturing the intellectual growth of students.
Other: It doesn't organize many fests like other colleges but it does and it is efficient.

With a rank of 58476 in Comedk 2018, you will not get BE in CSE in CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore, however, you can try for some core branches there and also try for core branches in average institutions.
