I am satisfied with the placements and internship programmes.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed. Top recruiting companies of our college are ZS Associates, Mu Sigma and GS Lab. Around 200 companies visit here every year. The average salary package offered is around 4-4.5 LPA. Placement people are strict, but they are helpful. Around 80% of the students get an internship easily, and our college helps in internships and placements. Lack of jobs is for industrial and production.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but the library and canteen infrastructure can be better. Ground and parking areas need to wider. Labs need to be modified. Food is good. Classrooms are better, but the Wi-Fi can be modified. After improving infrastructure, this can be the best autonomous college in Maharashtra.
Faculty: Faculty members here are helpful, and teaching quality is better. Class timing is the best. Projects are the best idea, and it makes students more industry-ready. Some add-ons are exam patterns and syllabus are more relevant, including all departments which are useful for industry.

The college has a very good infrastructure, but I am a bit disappointed by faculty members.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students get placed, and everyone who wants a job has got it. The highest salary package offered by Nvidia was 16 LPA till date, and the lowest salary package offered by Infosys is around 3.3 LPA. Hardware developer is the highest role offered for electronics students. Everyone gets an internship in small IT firms or startup companies.
Infrastructure: Department is equipped with all the essential hardware and software. Every lab has equipment that is working and is in good condition. The college has a Wi-Fi facility of Airtel and Jio, but no one needs it as everyone already has data nowadays. Classrooms are clean and big, and every classroom has a projector service. There is no hostel of college as such, but there are many private hostels which are linked with college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and caring in some exceptions, but every institute has some teachers who are not helpful. Teaching quality is quite good, but some times the wrong courses are allotted to teachers who are completely unknown to the subject which happens only sometimes. The course curriculum is well-designed and is relevant to industries, and it also includes industry-related projects.
Other: I had a background in electronics in junior college, so I have chosen electronics course. The college should provide more hands-on experience in laboratories. All the festivals and events take place in our college, and they are super exciting. Students should take part according to their interests.

Small campus, good placements.
Placements: VIT HAS good placements for computer, IT, electronics and etc. Most of the companies visit to campus gives minimum 6 LPA. Then ViT HAS MASS recruiters which takes almost 300 students every year from all branches. Talking about mechanical and production they do have placements but not more when compared with IT branches.
Infrastructure: VIT has a very small campus when compared with other colleges in Pune. Vit has 2 canteens. Do have a reading hall and a library CCTVs and a small play ground but people generally park their vehicles as we don't have a huge campus. Talking about hostel is bit costly it's better to find a PG or a flat.
Faculty: The faculty isn't that good. 3/10 are Ph.D. holder and rest all are post graduates. But placement point of view it is a really nice college so don't think much about faculty and course curriculum. It doesn't matter because we do have YouTube and NPTEL TO help us during exams. So we should bother about it. You can easily get 9+ CGPA if you are regular in college attending every lecture.

I am satisfied with the college, and one can enjoy his four years at VIT.
Placements: I am studying electronics engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. I am in the second year. Placements department of electronics engineering has a very good record. Last year, i.e., in the year 2018-19 83 students out of 120 students were placed through campus drive conducted at the college. The highest salary package offered to a student was 33 LPA, and a japan based company offered it through off-campus placements. A student got placed in HSBC with a salary package of 12 LPA through on-campus placements. The top recruiting companies for electronic engineering are John deere, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 to 4 LPA. During the 2nd semester of 3rd year, many students get internship opportunities from companies like Siemens, L&T, infotech etc. Almost 80% of the students got placed every year while some students opt out for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Department of electronics engineering at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology has well-furnished classrooms. Every classroom is equipped with digital learning facilities. Classrooms are huge, and students comfort been kept in mind. Department has separate labs for every subject, and all the labs contain all the necessary equipment required for the lab. Moreover, all the labs are equipped with Wi-Fi connection in every PCs. All the equipment are in proper working conditions, and there are multiple instruments and every student a chance to perform the practicals and gain knowledge. Rather than the college library, every department has its separate library which contains a variety of books on every subject. The college provides 2-3 private hostels, but most of the students prefer private hostel or flat due to its high cost. Its cost is around Rs. 90,000 for one year, and it provides breakfast and dinner. The quality of the food is not that good but okay. The hostel has a TV on the ground floor where everyone can sit and watch cricket matches. The water cooler is also available here. These all are available in one of the hostels, and some things may be different in other hostels.
Faculty: All the teachers in the department of electronics engineering are qualified in their job. Most of them are PhD holders, and some of them are pursuing. Teachers are ready to help whenever required. They possess immense knowledge about their subject. Our course curriculum is designed in such a way that it prepares us for the other competitive exams such as Gate. Our syllabus contains every important topic. They aim to make all the concepts clear to the students. Sometimes teachers teach through digital learning for better understanding of concepts. They also provide us with various internship opportunities as well as a platform to show our projects. They help us in paper publishing as well as for doing projects. They always keep us updated about placements and companies visiting, also hoe to achieve any goal.
Other: I have chosen this course because electronics is a combination of both hardware and software. I always wanted to know how things around me work. There are many opportunities for an electronics graduate. I wish there could be more core companies visiting in our college placements. Most of the students get placed in an IT company. CS or IT students should get equal opportunities to prove them as many IT companies do not allow electronics students. Many events are organised in our college; one is vishwakarandak which is in between inter-departmental and other is Melange, which is inter college. A lot of technical events are organised during these events, such as MAT lab coding, Hackathon, papyrus, problem-solving, etc., and students participate in these events. The campus is a bit small, but the college environment is quite good.

It is the best college for placements and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many companies visit our campus for placements. Salary packages offered range from 3.5 to 4 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Emerson, John Deer, Forbes Marshal, Iobot, Data Science, etc., visit our campus for placements. From this year onwards, the college is also allowing students of electronics to attend interviews conducted by software companies, which is quite good.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility provided by the college is the worst. VIT is the best for extracurricular activities. Classrooms are good. Labs have all the required equipment. The library is good. Food served in the canteen is okay. The hostel provided for girls is very costly, and they don't even provide that many facilities. I am not facing any issues related to the infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members for the electronics branch are the worst. Only some of the faculty members teach well. I prefer the E&TC branch over electronics. The course curriculum is changed every year. Industrial visits are conducted very often by the department. Most of the teachers are PhD holders, but they don't know how to teach.
Other: VIT takes care of entertainment very well. We have events like Vishwakarandak, Melange and Vishwotsave. Our college arranges sports matches. The campus crowd is good.
