It is the best college we can get at DU.
Placements: Typically students from English hons do not go for campus placements but still, if we try like some of my friends can get an average package of 19 LPA (one of our seniors got it), I am not really sure about the lowest package but our extracurricular activities do play an important role in our placements. We have a placement cell in our college.
Infrastructure: Apart from the lack of air-conditioning in classes, the infrastructure is pretty good. Wi-Fi is smooth. Labs and the library have AC and are well-furnished. The hostel is nice, but the food is just average. We have a huge ground with a basketball court and a football field.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good, and make the academics part fun and worth it. The remaining teachers are just average. Semester exams are easy, although we need to read novels beforehand for a good CGPA. The pass percentage is high. If students love reading and want to be around people who think out of the box then this is the place as we discuss everything from politics to mythologies.
Other: Hindu College is one of the best colleges on the north campus. It is filled with lovely people and we always have something or the other thing to enjoy here. It is a hassle to maintain our CGPA and extracurricular activities simultaneously but it's worth it. The diversity here is so good, and every student is writing their own stories. Mecca is one of the best fest of DU and it is something we can be a part of it directly. I suggest students do not miss the chance to be part of this campus.

Review of Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Three types of companies visit for placements Dream tier, Tier 1, and Tier 2. The student intake is different every year. There are more placement opportunities for students from Science and Commerce backgrounds compared to Humanities. If we are lucky, we can secure good placements in our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good. Library is open from 9 AM to 7 PM. Classrooms in both blocks are also good. There are 2 canteens and several places to sit and hang out with friends. The girls' hostel is decent. Boys' hostel is still under construction. There are plenty of food options available both inside and around the campus.
Faculty: Some faculty members are amazing. They are always available to support us, while others are not. So, it completely depends on the professors we are assigned. Since the implementation of NEP, the syllabus has become vast. Apart from our core subjects, we will also study subjects from other disciplines.

It provides an interesting course and fun.
Placements: The college does not offer many placement opportunities when it comes to our course. Only a few students get placed, that too through placement cell or efforts at a personal level. As of now, there is no such information about anyone getting placed in our batch. Most students prefer continuing their studies as it is required for good career opportunities in our field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice. The new classrooms have good space. The library is now provided with the latest technology. Sometimes, it is difficult to get Wi-Fi access. The old canteen has average food in terms of quality but affordable. More medical and sports facilities are needed for a better experience.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good in our department. They know the art of teaching. Only a few teachers fail to provide good enough teaching. The course has interesting papers and I really enjoyed reading and studying the books prescribed every semester. Exams are not that tough. One can get really good marks if books are read thoroughly.
Other: I chose this course because it is really interesting and it comprises subjects and topics from the other courses as well. It is interesting to explore the literature concerning various aspects and different areas of the world. Only if some good teachers are appointed, then we can get a way better experience. Fests and other department-related activities are chill and fun.

Engaging course curriculum with supportive faculty members and Vibrant Campus Life.
Placements: Around 80% of students in our course were placed. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA, the average salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Some of the top companies hiring from our course include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, and Deloitte. About 70% of students in the course received internships. Popular companies offering internships include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Accenture. Some of the key roles offered to students from our course include Software Developer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and Consultant.
Infrastructure: For our course, we have access to well-equipped labs with updated software, spacious classrooms with projectors, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the campus. There is a well-stocked library with a good selection of books and journals. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, a 24/7 water supply, and good security. Mess food is average but offers a balanced diet, while the canteen provides more varieties. Basic medical facilities are available on campus with a doctor visiting regularly. Sports facilities include a gym, basketball court, cricket ground, and indoor games, encouraging physical activity and recreation.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, making learning easier. Teaching quality is good, with practical examples and interactive sessions. The course curriculum is mostly relevant and includes projects and assignments that help to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, students who studied regularly find them manageable. The pass percentage is around 85-90%, reflecting supportive teaching and a balanced exam approach.
Other: I chose English Honours because I have a passion for literature, writing, and language, and it helps me develop strong communication skills. The best things about the course are the deep insights into different genres of literature, creative writing opportunities, and the development of critical thinking. I wish the course could offer more practical applications, such as internships or industry-related exposure. Campus is lively with various events and fests, and the crowd is diverse and engaging. Connectivity is good, and the campus surroundings are peaceful. There are also scholarships and extracurricular activities like debates, drama, and book clubs to explore beyond academics.

Review of Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Hindu College is not particularly known for placements but we do have a very good ecosystem for year-round internship opportunities and placements too. However, placements are only limited to B.Com or the economics department. There is hardly any placement for the humanities side.
Infrastructure: Hindu College is the number one college in India. It has the best infrastructure, courses, and hostels. We can choose from an array of courses. We have a girl's hostel which is quite expensive around Rs. 75,000 per semester which is very expensive. We don't have a boys hostel as of now and it is under construction.
Faculty: Faculty members of particularly English department are one of the best faculty for English in the whole of our country. They are very experienced and apt in their fields. The course curriculum has been a problem for me because it gives changes. The syllabus I have is very different from the syllabus my juniors are studying. Exams are pretty easy but it's very difficult to score in English because English as a subject is very hard to score. However, we can pass very easily but scoring is a different field.
Other: I would say the value for money is good because comparatively fees is very low and it is around Rs. 22,500 for my batch. We have good facilities like the library, auditorium, good classrooms, good teachers, etc. There is a Lotus single day when fests do not happen in the college.
