A very good college in its developing phase.
Placements: From Mechanical (My course), 93.7% of students are placed. The highest package is 20.1 LPA, the lowest package is 5.5 LPA, and the average package is 14.77 LPA. The recruiting companies are Tata Steel R&T, Engineers India Limited (EIL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Oil India Limited (OIL), and Jindal Steel & Power.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are decent, but need improvement, to be honest. In our department, many machines are very old and need to be replaced. Classrooms are well-furnished and comfortable, with whiteboards, blackboards, and projectors. The mess is average, and the canteen provides good food. The sports facilities are decent, but the cricket facilities need to be upgraded.
Faculty: The teachers here are very highly skilled in their respective courses. But there are some faculty members who might not be able to deliver the lectures properly, not because of a lack of knowledge, but because they are only good students and not good teachers. To be honest, I wouldn't say a complete yes or a complete no when it comes to industry-ready curriculum. Some courses are there that are really of no use. Semester exams are hard, but not the Everest to climb. Studying regularly and hard, especially before the exams, will yield good grades. The pass percentage here is 90+.
Other: The world of machines has always fascinated me, and this was the reason that the driving force me to go ahead with this course. The best thing about Mechanical is its direct link with the fascinating realm of machines. I would really like to see in my course is to include a semester, where we would only learn software related to the theoretical courses. Pravaah 2.0 is a new fest that started in 2024-25. The campus has very high aesthetic value, with it being amidst the hills. The campus crowd is decent, connectivity is expensive, scholarships are available, and we have good extracurricular activities.

Absolutely good hostels and teachers.
Placements: Approximately 85% of students are placed. The average package is 12 LPA, the highest package is approximately 48 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. Top companies are Oracle, Amazon, and many more. The percentage of students get internships is like 40% only.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good as well as the library. There is free Wi-Fi all over the place. The quality of food is not so good but medical facilities are very good, I am really impressed. There is also a place to play every game and a gym.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. The course is also very interesting. The course should be more industry-based. The semester exams are quite moderate to tough. Almost 90% of students pass the exam. Some teachers have very high qualifications but do not have the experience.

Infrastructure and facilities are good, faculty is also good, placements are below average.
Placements: From the applied students, almost 90% got placed from my branch, the highest is in the 20's and the lowest is 6 LPA, I guess. Many students get internships here. In the third year of college, every student has to do a compulsory internship to boost their skills, which also adds up in the resume.
Infrastructure: About the infrastructure available for my course, it's actually not bad, the equipment works fine in my department, infrastructure is not too shabby, but a bit old buildings. Coming to hostels, everyone gets a single occupancy room which is good, the mess is average, and sports facilities are good.
Faculty: All the professors here are very much qualified, knowledgeable, but the problem is, some of them don't know the way to teach. They have the knowledge but don't know the proper way to share it. Also, the curriculum is very old, probably like 15 years old curriculum. Semester exams are moderately difficult.

It is a good college with a nice infrastructure.
Placements: IIT Bhubaneswar is a second-generation IIT, and hence, its placement opportunities are not so good. No top companies come here for placement opportunities only. The highest package ranges from 60-70 LPA for the computer science students. We can also get internships in our second or third year, and not only in the fourth year.
Infrastructure: The college is very large and beautiful. It has its own overbridge. Nescafe's and Domino's are there. The library is also present, and during exams, it is open all the time. It is full of greenery. There is also a big auditorium. Mess food is good. Rooms are also of good capacity. Lecture halls are also very big and fully furnished with all requirements.
Faculty: According to me, our faculty members are brilliant. They teach us very well. Every topic they cover in the class, almost the same comes in the exams. Exams are also of a moderate level. The pass percentage is less than 50% but attendance is necessary.

Good infrastructure, facilities, faculty members, and various clubs for extracurricular activities.
Placements: Roles offered are power electronics engineer, control system engineer, telecommunication engineer, autonomous vehicle engineer, electrical designer, and sustainability engineer. Microsoft, Google, NTPEL, and other companies are present. Internship percentage is less. The highest package is 63 LPA. Average package is 17 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has a building for electrical, electronic and computer science school of electrical, computer sciences. Labs are good, and classes are held in learning halls. Our college has good infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is available in both hostel and learning halls. There is a central library on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and interactive with students. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are slightly difficult. More than 95% is the pass percentage. Exams are difficult, and consistent study is required.
Other: Course is interesting. Teaching and labs help to explore the contents of course with a deep understanding, and working on projects helps to know about real-life applications. Annual fest, where we can enjoy and explore about tech world, clubs, and societies for technology, business, dance, drama, singing, sports, etc.
