The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category candidates under All India, opening rank was 9322 and closing rank was 11159. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In all India category, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 16422 and 16897. Admission to BTech in Mechanical Engineering + M.Tech in Mechanical System Design at IIT Bhubaneswar is based on the scores obtained in the JEE entrance exam. The M.Tech admission dates for 2025 at IIT Bhubaneshwar is out now since the GATE 2025 exam dates are out. 

IIT Roorkee has REVISED the GATE 2025 application form dates. As per the revised schedule, GATE 2025 registrations had started on 28 August, 2024. The last date for GATE 2025 registration have been extended to October 3, 2024 (without late fees). Earlier, candidates had to submit the application form by 26 September 2024, with regular fees. Candidates will be able to submit the GATE 2025 application form with late fees until October 11, 2024 (extended).

For M.Tech at IIT Bhubaneswar, admission offers for GATE-qualified candidates are uploaded on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Thus, candidates must register at the COAP portal to view and accept their offers. Candidates can register on the COAP portal is free of cost. Further, selected candidates can accept the offer to confirm their seat in an M.Tech programme.

MTech tuition fees is INR 20,000. The overall fee may include other things such as hostel fees, security deposits, etc. 

The tuition fee for a two-year MTech range between INR 20,000. Apart from this, the total fee includes components such as hotel fee (if applicable), caution deposit, and other amounts to be paid at the time of admission of INR 1.08 lakh. Candidates have to submit the compulsory fee at the time of admission to confirm their seats. Further, this given fee is further taken from unofficial sources and hence is subject to changes. Also, the candidates willing to get admission to IIT Bhubaneshwar need to submit the application fee for GATE. 

The application procedure varies for each course. Below are pointers that explain the application process for the offered courses offered by IIT Bhubaneswar:

1. For BTech, the aspirants need to apply for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (nta.ac.in). JEE application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and INR 800 for girls (General /gen-EWS /OBC (NCL) category). Read more about JEE 2024 Application Process.
2. For MTech, candidates shall complete the GATE application process through the official website of the GOAPS (gate.iitk.ac.in). The GATE application fee for boys is INR 1,700, INR 850 for girls, and INR 850 for SC /ST /PwD category students. Read about GATE 2024 Application Process.

IIT Bhubaneswar offers full-time UG, PG, and PhD courses though its 7 schools. The tuition fee ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 8.10 lakh. Candidates can refer to the table to know course wise tution fee:

IIT Bhubaneswar CSE cutoff 2025 was released for different categories, on the basis of candidates' performance in the JEE Main exam. For candidates belonging to the General AI category, the cutoff rank to get CSE was 4162 in the last round. For the OBC AI category candidates, the closing rank for CSE in the last round was closed at 1510. For the SC AI and ST AI categories, the cutoffs for the same were 747 and 265, respectively. For the EWS category candidates, the cutoff for CSE was closed at 538. 

The dates for JoSAA counselling 2026 choice filling will be announced once the result of JEE Main 2026 is declared. Candidates can fill choices only during the choice filling period. Also, candidates need to lock their choices before the last date.
