IIT Jodhpur MSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur offers a two-year MSc course. The postgraduate-level course is offered in five specialisations, including Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Digital Humanities, and Computational Social Science. Admission is through the all-India level Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) conducted by IITs. The reservation policy is adapted as suggested by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. School of Liberal Arts, IITJ offers a two-year flagship MSc course in Computational Social Science (CSS).
IIT Jodhpur also offers an MSc-MTech integrated programme in full-time and part-time modes. It is a four-year dual degree integrated programme featuring a dual degree component. The integrated course is offered in two specialisations, including MSc (Mathematics)-MTech (Data and Computational Sciences) and MSc (Physics)-MTech (Materials Engineering). Admission is based on IIT JAM scores.

Students enrolled in the MSc programmes are not provided with any assistantship or scholarship from within the Institute. But, candidates enrolled in the MSc programmes can pursue external funding agencies providing assistantships or scholarships. Some of the scholarships for which candidates can apply are INSPIRE scholarship and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. These scholarships are offered by the government.
Candidates seeking admission to an MSc course must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements. Admission to the PG course is through IIT JAM.
